  • @iamacharlotte I think i will let other people reply to this stupid remark as my reply would get me barred.

  • @musicman70splus i am really sorry i cant help myself,I really do like this song tho

  • @iamacharlotte Sorry I did not get the Walking dead thing John Walker lost his fight with cancer in may and your comment did not look good but I see other comments of the same vibe.

  • @musicman70splus thats ok

  • @iamacharlotte Wow! I had really forgotten this song until I was reminded of it while watching The Walking Dead. Good thing the producers have such great taste! Love this song, love The Walking Dead!

  • @iamacharlotte seriously...don't be dumb..is that how unintelligent you are? all you can think of is something stupid to say like.."walking dead"? keep your dumb comments to yourself..k..do everyone a favor..thanks!

  • @Aleccsg98 sorry about that, this song is really cool.I ADMIT my comment is so stupid.I removed it.I FEEL STUPID BECAUSE OF THAT COMMENT.)c:

  • @iamacharlotte it's okay man, I like that show, a lot of ppl do. this song is quite a good song too, heard this way before that show came out.

  • ok, so the Walking Dead brought me here - but I've always loved this song : )

  • Wow - forgot about this gem... makes me feel young again.

    V

  • Why don't they have the other two doing anything?

  • I could play this classic over and over, and never ever get bored of it. Just another priceless timeless gem from a moment frozen in time.

  • Wonderful!.

  • This reminds me of Christmas songs.

  • I remember hearing this song on my transistor radio as it dangled from my Mustang/Banana seat bicycle as I rode through the streets lipsynching. Great song and great memories. Does anyone know where this video was shot? I love the angels and how they're posed.

  • A great record from a smashing bunch of guys. I was so lucky to of been around in those days. I feel sorry for the younger generation today, there's nothing left for them now musically because we had the cream of the crop of music and talent. There's nothing or nobody these days who will ever come close to the quality and standards back then. Thank you for posting.

  • Scott Walker was the lead singer if I am not mistaken (?)

  • He had this incredible voice; however, he was (like so many other artists) at his best when he was produced by someone who knew what to do with that beautiful voice. When he was left to his own devices, his sound was so progressive that it didn't really go with that "pop" voice. I always thought that Phil Spector (in his Prime) should have gotten a hold of Scott Walker. Maybe there would have been some more masterpieces. The guy could sing!!!!!! Cute, too!

  • Great song, you will be missed . R.I.P.

  • When you're without love,babyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy!

  • wish I could have met him (scott) yrs. ago, or even now. ) you cute thing you!

  • I can't really hear his voice. He looks like one of the Beatles though.

  • An even awesomer song.

  • Thanks for your comments guys.....please remember that this was written by Bob Gaudio and Bob Crewe. Bob C's lyrics are sublime and wonderful...and he is sublime and wonderful and living in LA....he is, truly , a great man.

  • Scott Walker should've been bigger than Sinatra. BIGGER. Yes, you heard me. He's that fantastic.

  • @mikezazworsky

    Bigger than Sinatra?

Please...complete your 12 Step Program and be done with it.

  • @Easleytee 12 Step Programs are for quitters!

was this song in a creepy movie??!??! Everytime I hear it I think of a movie I've seen years back and can't recall which one was it . It was just goosebumps-giving movie.(not talking about truly madly deeply but another one)

  • @kinoko510 zombie movie- The Walking Dead

  • @NUMB3RSLUV3R -The Walking Dead is a series based on the comic book with the same tittle. I wish there was a movie though.

  • love the cupid on the right at the start of the song

  • Love the song but the video sucks. They are acting like they were forced to make this video and weren't really into it. I have seen other videos of them singing this song and they were much more animated.

  • tHE TWO OF THEM TOGETHER - omg!!!

  • This song is great 4 rainy days

  • This is just beautiful. It completely captures the emotions of heartbreak that we all have felt. The Walker Brothers right here are being true men. It's a shame modern artists don't have nearly that much sheer integrity to wake a work of art that will last ages.

  • the drums make it

  • I have never heard such a sexy voice he does it for me,sing to the ladies in heaven John,r.i.p. xxxxx

  • This has been brought to a new generation thanks to its the Walking Dead. I immediately sought out where it came from after watching the Comic con trailer.

  • A classic for sure! Love the video as well; from a time when we were more innocent.

  • @DD99able A time when it was cool to be clean, cultured, poetic and intellgent!

  • May 7, 2011 RIP John Walker. you will be missed!

  • Blue-eyed soul meets Wall of Sound for a classic (that doesn't mean 'old'--it means 'can hardly be improved upon') record.

  • when i die i hope the ticket prices in heaven are low cause its going to be one hell of a show

  • If there's a rock and roll heaven you know they got one hell of a band...

    RIP John

  • Does anyone know where this was recorded, the location it was filmed? Where was it aired, some TV variety show??

  • @Mikes66442 somewhere in sweden i think ! not sure though

  • @gezzy84 Thank you!

  • @gezzy84 Sweden, Millesgarden. I was there recently and it still looks exactly the same. I was hoping Scott would come out from behind of some column. He didn´t. Sniff :-(

  • @Mikes66442 (As someone said) it was shot in the Millesgarden in Stockholm and it was aired on the Swedish TV show "Popside".

  • @teghe55 Thank you very much! Nice to know the location!!

  • @teghe55 Thanks from me, as well! This is one of my favorite songs/video clips, and I'm glad to know some of the history behind it!

  • Powerful performance. Sincere singing of a song. Brings to mind the great recordings of the Righteous Brothers, Lenny Welch, Paul Davis and Etta James, to name a few. Singers who put their heart and soul into a song.

  • I got busted by my kids singing this with headphones on,,,, all dramatic ...yikes sooo embarrassing lol

  • hate the video, love the song :D

  • AWESOME dramatic hand gesture from 1:57 til 2:17....YES!!!!!!

  • So glad I found this again, last one was taken off. Thanks!

  • AWESOME THEN, AWESOME NOW, AWESOME FOREVER !

  • @HEMISUPERBEE426

    Quite right!!!

  • Wow, a music video? Rare, back then.

  • Heard this back in the days of myspace, :), Keane's version and also this

  • Kray Brothers->>>> "Ronnie Kray walked towards Cornell, took out a 9 mm Mauser, and calmly shot him once in the forehead, just above his right eye. Cornell slumped against a nearby pillar, the bullet, apparently, passing straight through him. Moments earlier the barmaid, who was later to become a key witness in the trial, had put a new record on the jukebox, "The Sun Ain't Gonna Shine Anymore" by The Walker Brothers; after Cornell was shot, the record stuck on the words "anymore...anymore".

  • The walking Dead!

  • The man's voice is soo powerful! And the Millesgarden in Stockhom, Sweden is a trip.

  • Another classic video 5*****
