hey man I have the t-trim on the stock motor making about 430 rwhp. I want to put a motor in my car so that I can really run this blower. I currently only make about 7 lbs of boost. How much boost are you running? Do you reccomend your motor? Any advice for me? I want reliability, and some "Decent" power without going too crazy. Thanks for your help man.
@swooshonln I'm running 20 psi peak on pump gas with a total timing of 15*. I have a MMR MOD 900 shortblock I bought about 5 years ago. I also run Patriot stage 2 ported stock heads, HP S292 Cams with a TFS intake. I highly reccomend MMR for their engines. The reason you see only 7 psi is because of your cams. Boost is just a measure of resistence. You'd be seeing 9-10 psi and only making in the 380's if you didn't have them. I went from 431 to 515 when I changed cams and dropped about 1.5 psi.
@jivepepper what do you think I will be able to make if I leave in the cams and put thorw on a small pulley? (under 3") I dont really want to buy more cams... although CMS Stage II Blower cams are my first and only alternative choice lol
Since you have a 3.6 now and I think a stock engine I would consider a 3.1 or 3.3. I think you should be around 470-480. Even that's starting to push the stock motor.
It's a MMR MOD 900 I 've had it for almost 5 years. I couldn't be happier with it. I'm on the bottom of their homepage. Its when I was running stock heads intake and the S-trim I was making 515 at the time.
@jivepepper NICE!, yea i wasnt gonna go that big, probably their 750, i hear so much good stuff about them, my friend is getting a long block built by them at the moment, they've been working with him for a couple months now.. see how that works out..
I ran a stock tr3650 from a 2002 Mustang GT. It lasted for a few years and went a couple months ago. I'll probably run another stock one until winter then go either with a T56 to a promotion built TR3650
F'n sick Jive. I'll hopefully be putting my dyno vid up in a couple months. I'm going for around 600 on boost and 700+ on the sauce. Wish me luck bro!
You can do it, 2v's can break 1000 on boost alone most people just go 4v by then. MPH has had 2 twinscrew 2v's in the 900's and if you had a turbo or big centri you could do even more. Twin srews are not known for having big peak numbers.
I would like to know what intercooler u went with. I have a 02 gt with a vortech t-trim. I am shooting for 450rwhp next week. But have a stock long block, so i will be pushing it.

Is your kit intercooled? I am planning on doing a t trim for my set up. Happy with it? Good numbers

@DaStakk1510
Yes it's intercooled and this is my second Vortech supercharger and both performed well.
It's a CXracing 31x12x4" I was using a 31x12x3. They sell them on ebay. I made all most 600 with the smaller one and a S-TRIM.

very nice, is it true with the 18% overdrive crank pulley you need to run an electric water pump?
kid1226 2 years ago
Yes. You can get an 99-00 water pump and pulley to fit but you still be overspinning it.
jivepepper 2 years ago
What blower/crank pulley combo are you running?
videonox 2 years ago
innovators west 18% overdrive crank dampner and a 3" sc pulley.
