@FutureMrsJudd his "rock breath" is that when he finishes a line of opera, he exhales at the end instead of holding the note/ending immediately. (He shouldn't have the exhale, like at 1:08 you can hear it)
it was just half or 1 tone. Not so LOW. And if you don't see a talent in him either you're blind or you haven't seen any of McFly's live performances. So search before you judge him.
P.S. Nessun Dorma for Darius was lowered 5 tomes! And you're saying it's less than Danny's transposition?
1). We're not comparing at all here, as neither one has any operatic talent.

Yes, the name Danny Jones means a lot in pop and pop rock world no matter if you care or not.
And yes none of these artists can be called an opera singer. I'm perfectly aware it takes years to gain something in opera and not everybody manages this. They, on the contrary, have just a few weeks.
The question is if it's not worth watching why you watch it then come here and insult artists who try their best?
Precisely because they are on here! They have no business being on stage singing arias in which they have basically no training for. So how about you just stick to your idiotic world of "pop and pop rock" and leave the world of art to the ones that can appreciate it!
That 'opera world' that you appreciate so much is no more than bunch of pretentious people trying their whole life do something that's have been done long before them. I don't know whether you're just an admirer of opera or you're actually related to it but let me tell you, no one will be better than artists who created Opera as an art and at least I'm proud of my own artists who do something new in their time and dont stick to the past.

About your 'world' (are we still on Earth?). Opera is so beautiful when you just see the artist who sings an amazing aria with orchestra, it's a stunning view. But behind the curtain it appears to be quite ugly. I'm proud of the fact that people who I respect as artists appreciate the work of their collegues, instead of dissing them. It's all hypocrisy and jealousy that I hate so much about opera. Just go to any youtube video of opera performance and you'll get what I mean.
In the world we live in (and yes we are in a different world. We can actually tell the difference between someone who thinks they can sing, and someone who can!) we can appreciate good talent, diction, and enjoy it. Otherwise, get out! And so should you!
Well, if you call having a good voice a talent I pitty you. With all these new technologies you can recreate any voice you want and having a good voice and diction isn't a talent. The talent is an ability to create something new that gets people's souls. That's what most of modern artists do. You just should get out of your shell and enjoy the present, not the past. Maybe you'll become more polite with people you don't even know. Good luck with that.
there are talented pop artists out there. and danny jones is one of them - MAYBE not vocally, but if you saw his music knowledge you'd understand what i mean. this show is shitty, yes, because they're not rated by their talented but for what people THOUGHT of their performances, people with no opera experience. so just chill out, X Factor and shit is the same thing.

The question is whether or not I can deal with arrogant unknowledgeable people who want to debate on something they are clueless about, and then get irate when they are bested.
@JulietheQueen it's a good voice once you hear the songs he and his band mates are creating, these songs aren't created for him or his voice. you can't create something new that gets people souls when you sing something that was made for somebody else almost a decade ago.

I agree with you that ones can't get to someone's souls just using something that's been created long before. This is actually my general idea of all opera stuff. When I said about Danny Jones creating something new, I obviously meant his work with McFly and masterpieces like Not Alone and Walk In The Sun for rushed example.

@FutureMrsJudd his "rock breath" is that when he finishes a line of opera, he exhales at the end instead of holding the note/ending immediately. (He shouldn't have the exhale, like at 1:08 you can hear it)

it was just half or 1 tone. Not so LOW. And if you don't see a talent in him either you're blind or you haven't seen any of McFly's live performances. So search before you judge him.
P.S. Nessun Dorma for Darius was lowered 5 tomes! And you're saying it's less than Danny's transposition?

1). We're not comparing at all here, as neither one has any operatic talent.
2). If the music is transposed in any way, shape, or form, it's not worth the time to listen to. And
3). You apparently know absolutely nothing about opera if you consider this man "talented". If he has a name in the pop world or not I don't know, nor do I care. But as far as the classical world is concerned, this guy is a loser.

Well, your 3 sentences contradict each other so I don't know what to reply to.
Yes, the name Danny Jones means a lot in pop and pop rock world no matter if you care or not.
And yes none of these artists can be called an opera singer. I'm perfectly aware it takes years to gain something in opera and not everybody manages this. They, on the contrary, have just a few weeks.
The question is if it's not worth watching why you watch it then come here and insult artists who try their best?

That 'opera world' that you appreciate so much is no more than bunch of pretentious people trying their whole life do something that's have been done long before them. I don't know whether you're just an admirer of opera or you're actually related to it but let me tell you, no one will be better than artists who created Opera as an art and at least I'm proud of my own artists who do something new in their time and dont stick to the past.

About your 'world' (are we still on Earth?). Opera is so beautiful when you just see the artist who sings an amazing aria with orchestra, it's a stunning view. But behind the curtain it appears to be quite ugly. I'm proud of the fact that people who I respect as artists appreciate the work of their collegues, instead of dissing them. It's all hypocrisy and jealousy that I hate so much about opera. Just go to any youtube video of opera performance and you'll get what I mean.

Well, if you call having a good voice a talent I pitty you. With all these new technologies you can recreate any voice you want and having a good voice and diction isn't a talent. The talent is an ability to create something new that gets people's souls. That's what most of modern artists do. You just should get out of your shell and enjoy the present, not the past. Maybe you'll become more polite with people you don't even know. Good luck with that.

there are talented pop artists out there. and danny jones is one of them - MAYBE not vocally, but if you saw his music knowledge you'd understand what i mean. this show is shitty, yes, because they're not rated by their talented but for what people THOUGHT of their performances, people with no opera experience. so just chill out, X Factor and shit is the same thing.

and Opera is not the only art of music, ffs. all kinds of music are a piece of art. unfortunately nowadays, especially in the pop issue, people only care about the entertainment and not the art, but what can you do? & modern songs dont "get to people's souls". how does POKER FACE get to people's souls, really?
another thing, Danny didn't want to go to this in first place. his manager&bandmates convinced him tho as they probably knew it would give him more fame. doesnt make him any less talented.

The question is whether or not I can deal with arrogant unknowledgeable people who want to debate on something they are clueless about, and then get irate when they are bested.

@JulietheQueen it's a good voice once you hear the songs he and his band mates are creating, these songs aren't created for him or his voice. you can't create something new that gets people souls when you sing something that was made for somebody else almost a decade ago.

I agree with you that ones can't get to someone's souls just using something that's been created long before. This is actually my general idea of all opera stuff. When I said about Danny Jones creating something new, I obviously meant his work with McFly and masterpieces like Not Alone and Walk In The Sun for rushed example.
Anyway, long live music world in all its diverseness!
