An interesting note... In the Japanese version, Nergal said "Aenir" instead of "Quintessence". However, the word for "Quintessence" was "Aegir", so the translators turned the name of Nergal's wife into the name for life force. Because they couldn't tell between a "g" and an "n".

I finally understand the full Story of Fire Emblem 7. Renault is centuries old. he was expiremented on by Nergal in order to bring back his dead friend. Nergal succeeded in creating morphs because of Renault, so It is safe to say that nergal's first morph was suppose to be Renault's friend....Kishuna was nergal's first morph.

Its so crazy how the person renault was talking about was kishuna, kishuna and renault were best friends until he died of an unknown reason, Renault unable to contain his rage, went out on a berserking fury and killed countless innocent people, one person being Lucius' father. Then Renault met nergal and they worked together to bring his friend back to life, they were successful but failed at the same time, because the morph was nothing like the real person. Here's the last time they met!

Also, I always thought of Aureola as just some sort of orbital strike from a satellite laser lol. Athos (or Renault) just lights up the target.

@BlitzJones85 Lol You're talking about the character himself, not this particular one correct? The one in this video has awful stats. There are level 17 mages that have better stats :P You would be much better off with Pent or Athos of course. (I know Athos makes it too easy)

This was Renault's story:

He was a former Caelin mercenary about 50 or something years back, but his best friend died, turning him mad, and killing many people, including Lucius' father. He then went to Nergal to ask to revive his dead friend. If you've played FE8, you know what happened with that. He then became an Elimine bishop and exiled himself to Valor.

What a horrible life he lived...

@ryguy5050 In the desert chapter. Bring Matthew/Legault, and have them walk around the bones. You'll find Fillas Might, an Eclipse Tome, a Light Brand, and a Hero Crest. If you walk around the area where Hawkeye appears, you can find an Ocean Crest, which you promote Dart with.

@Dahosfan It's never explained straight out, but in his support conversations (With Canas and Lucius in particular) his backstory is covered. He was a knight of Caelin who had a close friend die. Nergal promised to bring him back if Renault aided him, but the morph created wasn't the friend Renault had wanted back. Personally, I believe it was the magic seal, but that's never said right out.

Well, it wasn't really Kishuna's fault that he became a magic seal, that was Nergal's doing.

Fun fact - Kishuna is the only morph that can genuinely feel pain, love, suffering, etc. As Limstella says, most morphs' emotions are simply constructs.

You get them in alot of different places, let's see...you get one from ninian, one in the dessert level(if you get 700xp on that level, there a gaiden chapter), You get one in chapter 30, where you get renault, and you get another one in Sonia's chapter(it's a gaiden chapter, you have to recruit nino and have her talk to Jaffar, I think), That's all I know, there might be one more.

I only got Renault because of his Fortify staff. Lucius is a hella better bishop than Renault due to his better Str (WTF Renalut's Magic is 12 when you get him as a lv 16 Bishop) , Skl, Spd, and Res. But Lucius' Luck and Def is pale compared to Renault.
