It appears to me that he was pissed that he was getting tailgated so he break checked a few times then decided to confront the driver behind him. So he flashes his hazards, stops his car and got out to yell at the car with the dash cams driver when the accident happend

@DJdavethedan You will understand once you start driving. There are a lot of idiots and assholes out there. Having dashcam footage could be used if someone decides to hit & run you, or if someone rear-ends you and files a fraudulent insurance claim. There are many other uses.

I got one a couple months ago and I've found it to be very theraputic posting videos of bad drivers on YouTube rather than just getting upset at their actions. Plus, if I ever get in to an accident or get pulled over for an arguable reason I've got video evidence at my disposal.

The third car clearly did not realize the two cars were stopped until it was to late, swerved onto the shoulder to try to avoid them, and got wedged into the guardrail. Not difficult to figure out.

Since there are dashed white lines to the right side of the cars, that means they are in the left lane. If it was a solid line to the right, they would be on the shoulder.
