Well if you knew your history you would know that there was no Palestinian borders in 1967....Gaza was Egyptian and the West Bank was part of Trans Jordan... Both those countries lost land through agression.....so if you want to retreat to pre 1967 borders...Then Palestine still won't exist.......And I am sure if Eygypt and Jordan would agree to reassert their claims on the territory that was thiers pror to 1967 then I am sure Israel would readily agree....

By being obstinent and not freeing Shalit who never killed anyone, Israel refuses to release Hamas prisoners who have murdered, maimed and killed innocent civilians. It is true that there are occasional civilian casualties among the Israeli population from the Hamas vilonce. But one cannot deny that there is a huge blood toll that Palestinians have paid in the last six decades. And as the recent escalation in Gaza showed there was no proportionality. And as the Palestinians have indeed reason to resent the political status quo that has been imposed by them by Israel, they will always consider those who fight against it freedom fighters.

Egypt and Syria have been in competition to be the representatives of Arab causes. In the end Egypt is Israel's dog and Syria is an old dog that's all bark and no bite.
