@marxb Anderson Silva could duck & counter those shots with ease... as great as Fedor is/was, he just threw lightning quick haymakers. No doubt Fedor is the greatest MMA HW of all time, but not the greatest Mixed Martial Artist of all time. A brilliant technical, defensive, accurate counter striker would pick Fedor apart, even back in his prime. Sadly, the HW division, in boxing & MMA, rarely has brilliant technical, fast, accurate counter strikers... just power punchers & brawlers.

@PhukAdvertisements 2 years ago i would have said nobody beat fedor, no matter how good they were at avoiding shots, they come too hard and too fast. but if i am honest with my self he is just human and could have got caught by any of his opponents, so i think you are right in what you say. mma is evolving all the time and fighters as individuals struggle to evolve with it. thats why so many fighters have have such great winning stats for ages and then suddenly its loss after loss
