The original C&C RA 1 was an awesome game. Innovative, groundbreaking, etc. As good as it was, when I saw RA2, I fell in love w/it & I was totally blown away. But I wasn't impressed as much with the progression from RA2 to RA3 as I was w/the progression from RA1 to RA2. I was disappointed w/RA3 & actually prefer RA2 & even C&C Generals.

@MrAtif09 Me too. I also like C&C Generals. I was really disappointed w/RA3 & I wouldn't buy C&C4 to save the life of my own mother. Mandatory internet connection needed for 1 player mode? No thanks! RTS games suck now anyway. They've been gradually "dumbing them down" while relying primarily on graphics. I've also noticed that less & less RTS games are made now, compared to the late 90's/early 00's. Whatever. I will stick w/games made before 2006. They're still fun!

Trust me normal RA3 is better there is many mods that you will Definately enjoy. and not to mention that there is an uprising mod for normal ra3 that brings uprising units :)

Back in 2000 when ea was their publisher westwood was making very very poor sales and they cancelled 2 games which was a waste of money. Then EA was like "thats enough you guys wasted so much money" then they united all parts of westwood and formed into EA L.A some developrs from westwood still works at EA L.A

Right after ra3 the developers left which is why cnc 4 wasn't a true cnc game.

I dont mean to be a buzzkill but after Ra2 all they did was throw in some women and improved graphics, in RA3 uprising they added some new OP units and a quick campaign which has no real change to the series.

Tbh they should bring back Gen. Carville or atleast make a modern series and not 35000 years into the future. I really don't see how you can get an tank and dolphins that will create waves to kill enemies in the same time period.
