I just got my own set....actually 3 sets of these Neca turtles...they are AWESOME!!! I already Pre-Ordered the 'Shredder' figure....man cant wait!!! Great figure set!
Hell no.....But they brought back out the first ones made these are just from the comic book versions the first ones to come out they brought back out the 25th anniversery editions.... i still have my originals from 25 years ago
Hi, his waist actually twist. His chest bends forward as well. When I first got my Raphael, I thought I broke his chest and tried to glue it. Luckily I did not and removed the glue in time because it actually bends forward, like if you are doing stomach crunches. Try it and you will realise this is a more amazing figure than you already think it is.
i like michelangelo the best he's the only one i got i like how the nunchucks like have metal and like they can swing and stuff so yeah i recomment mikey
There was no waist movement with the originals from the 80s. I have all of the first series mint in box from 1988, so these are more for the comic side. Awesome though!
I love these figures they are the best ever, I did not have to take apart the bo staff though you can bend the hand open easily by pulling on the fingers a bit.
Because in the comics they all have identical headbands. The 20th year anniversary figs (AKA: these figs.) where made "To celebrate 20 years since the first issue by Kevin Eastman and Peter Laird."
Well in stores they can be found for around 15 dollars each. The individual packages come with more weapons and other accessories. I just wanted the turtles with their weapons.
Nice vid man! I got my nycc exclusive boxset signed by Eastman and Laird at new york comicon. I wouldn't mind getting the basic boxset and tube packaged ones too b/c they really do look so cool in the box :)
Oh. It just seemed odd to me. These guys look like they ripped straight from the first few issues, yet the art looked slightly off so that is why I was confused.
One thing- there should be waist joints on those guys, but its beneath the chestplate. They might be paint-sticky. That said, they're also kinda limited due to the aforementioned chestplate, hehe.
Agreed that I'd also feel kind of gypped by not getting the display bases and throwing stars and things. Still, great posable, solid figures on their own too, which is quite impressive especially considering that it's NECA!
Oh I wasn't aware of the waist joints. Everything is just so tight on these figures, heh. Yes there are very impressive even coming from NECA who has shoveled out some shit in their time.
I have the individual versions only one I'm missing is raph just never have the money at the time.

i got leonardo today and i am going to review him soon!
i really dont like the way they gave them each the same colour band around there eyes every turtle has a red band!
or is it based on the tmnt comic or something and do they all have the same coloured band in that or some thing?

How much did that pack cost? I like them, I think.
CJWproductions 3 years ago
It was 45 dollars on Big Bad Toy Store. It seems to be sold out right now though. To find it on the site just type TMNT in the search bar.
thefinalhope 3 years ago
Thanks! Then they're about $11 each? $12 or $13 because of the individual add-ons I guess.
Bit outta my range right now but cool.

Yeah, just got all 4 turtles, and they are awsome!! Best TMNT toys ever made!!
The artwork on the back of the box is from the cover of issue #50 in the original comic series.
