  • Despite that it's a liftmaster, it looks like a Craftsman, a tinnny bit.

  • Trust me I know what I'm doing you dont need to tell me

  • @sms373 ok

  • your bearings sound very bad. since you have torsion springs, it is most likely your rollers which sound awful. Sealed nylon rollers would definitely be the best bet. I recommend a professional install. Also, as far as the belt squeaking, just apply a bit of spray lube to the teeth of the belt, and then humidity will not matter. Word of warning, the new 8550 and the 8360 may not program to in-car homelink systems. Lift master will hopefully fix this ASAP. I tried and left the job frustrated.

  • Also, those light lenses are terrible. They just look to big for me. My fav LiftMaster style is the 1280 though... I guess Im old school...

  • @liftmasterpro sure Im interested do you want me to PM you me address so you can mail it to me?

  • @LiftmasterFan1414

Wrong. If you'd actually read the description, you'd find that it says: "Available after Aug. 15th."

  • @liftmasterpro what is a sample kit?

  • @sms373 Hi Sam. It's more like a product launch kit, really... just has all the information on the new product, including sales brochures, accessory guides, a DVD with installation instructions, etc. This is for our dealers only, but after seeing all your videos, we though you'd be interested in this too.

  • @sms373 Cool video. Sorry to hear your printer ran out of ink half way... how about we send you an official sample kit?

  • @LiftmasterFan1414

Dude, chill. They're not available until next Monday anyways.

  • Yeah, LM is getting rid of two openers. The 3850, (replaced with the 8550) and I can't remember the other one the DC chain drive replaces, or the DC chain drives model number, for that matter. (I'm doing this on my iPod)

  • Wow man you got right on it.

Thanks man! I can't wait until we get to see more

  • Oops brain fart. found it. Thanks anyway! Great video.
