Assuming this is right for a moment, what the buggery bollix were the makers of this movie thinking introducing a psychic (or whatever she was) into this and canning the whole concept of science helping someone transfer their conscious into the mind of a killer while they're not conscious? I've seen the first movie a number of times now and still love it - Vincent D'noffrio (spelling?) is a brilliant actor. The first plot was original and full of effects with excellent imagery (i think). So, I bought part 2 based on an assumption it would be roughly the same thing, even if it wasn't as good as the first. Not only is this movie NO WAY near as good as the first one, it's not even really linked to the first movie.....my god this was a disappointment.
