  • But this tank is not sell on your site now?

  • my area has a lot of power problems is there any kind of smal generator or something i can buy for this?

  • this is just sick

  • A jellyfish tank is full of water. Find the work required to pump the water out of the spout. Use the fact that water weighs 62.5 lb/ft^3

  • a living lava lamp..if only I had enough money :)

  • I truly love the concept of having jellies and it was something as a child that I one day hoped to be able to afford. We bought a desktop (the spherical one) and 2 jellies, nervous that they'd be really tough to care for, had them for less than a month and they died. We did everything we were told to do, but nothing saved them...it's frustrating, because I'm very tempted to give it another try, but I don't want to kill more jellies and spend a lot of money.

  • KUGAREHIME!!!!!! I HAS TO GET ME ONA THESE XD <3 <3 <3 <3 preddi jellyfish <3

  • @JellyfishArtDotCom you go to sea and take salt water ????

  • @intermilan1996 No, we we make our own salt water using marine salt and water that has gone through reverse osmosis.

  • @JellyfishArtDotCom can you eat them

  • @simpleearthling Yes, some people enjoy eating jellyfish. You can even find recipes online!

  • @JellyfishArtDotCom aww i wish i could have one i will if i have enough money if when im allowed for Allowances and got thosands i will buy tanks from your website...Soon.....

  • I have always wanted pet jellyfish, but I never knew it was possible. I found your site and got very excited. :) However, I was wondering if it was still possible to get the small rounded desktop tank? I couldn't locate it anywhere on your site.

  • @summershouts Hello, yes it is possible to still get the spherical Desktop Tank. Please contact us for details at

     info [at] JellyfishArt [dot] com

  • YOOOO I GOT SOME QUESTIONS .. WHERE CAN I BUY IT?? I LIVE IN MAHATTAN IS THERE ANY ACARIUM WHERE I CAN GET IT??? HOW MUCH DOES IT COST DA ONE IN THIS VIDEO INCLUDING DA JELLYFISHES ? DONT SEND ME TO DA WEBSITE JUS TELL ME A PRICE ....

  • @cruzmexa You can buy a jellyfish tank from JellyfishArt [dot] com. The 40 gallon tank is $2,900 and the Desktop Tank and Starter Kit is $249.

  • @cruzmexa Im not sure if your mentally capable of looking after jellyfish my friend :/

  • can different speices of jellyfish live together in one aquarium? and how many moon jellyfish do you think would fit in a 16 gallon tank? what about a 40 gallon tank. Please answer i rly want a jellyfish but i need to have more info.

  • @pizzamaster110211 i know a good bit about their site and jellyfish so i might be able to help you out. first off, some jellyfish eat other species so its a bad idea to mix and match. well the 8 gallon tank holds 8 jellyfish and a 40 gallon capacity tank holds ten jellys. so a 16 could hold around 9.

  • If I recall correctly box jellyfish are extremely poisonous and people have actually died from their stings. People have scars from where the tentacles touched them that look like branding iron marks. I thought box jellyfish were dangerous as well but maybe not as much as I remember.

  • are these jellyfish, poisonous, deadly, or dangerous in anyway?? i want one..their movements are so graceful :)

  • @honeydip1031 these cant sting you on normal skin. they can sting fish and other small animals. so they are pretty harmless.

  • is it possible to order box jellyfish. I could get a custom tank built in my home. Was just wondering if/how it was possible

    any info would be greatly appreciated

  • @kuzak20 It is extremely expensive to order box jellyfish but it is possible. We usually recommend moon jellyfish or pacific sea nettles for our custom tanks.

  • @kuzak20 Why would you want Box Jellies? That sounds like a terrible idea to me.

  • @SherinaOMG About four thousand dollars!!!!! Like all saltwater stuff way over priced.

  • @SherinaOMG You can figure out your price with options on our website: jellyfishart [dot] com

  • @JellyfishArtDotCom can i buy the tank,food,led light,and the jellyfish from your website to ship all the way to Miami ??

  • @roflsteaksauce Yes. There are no problems shipping to Miami. Everything you need is available on our website: jellyfishart [dot] com

  • Don't aurelia aurita grow to be nearly 30cm?

    Beautiful (and weird) critters.

  • @quexalcoatl Yes Aurelia can grow to be quite large, but as long as you don't overfeed them they won't outgrow their tank.

  • WHOAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

  • How do u feed them?

  • @Baconishealthy We have an instructional video on YouTube. Search for "How to Feed Pet Jellyfish"

  • Wow, they're so beautiful. They've always been my favorite animals,I love them. And I'm going to get soooome. <3

  • Will the desktop cylinder tank you're going to offer have the black trim with specs including a 9 gallon capacity, 14.5" diameter and 18.5" height?

  • Yes, it is a biube tank modified to be compatible with jellyfish

  • @JellyfishArtDotCom what is modified from the normal biorb/biubes to make them compatible?

  • @Steve180ca We modify the design of the tube to allow a water flow pattern that is favorable to jellyfish. It is critical that a jellyfish tank have the correct water flow, otherwise jellyfish can get stuck in corners or sucked into filtration intakes.

  • That's good to hear. Is it safe to assume that the color-changing LED light that you're working on for the bowl tank will be available as an option for the cylinder tank as well in the coming weeks?

  • Yes, it will be available on the cylindrical desktop tank. Color-changing lights are already available as an option on the Monaco, which is the 40-gallon tank with jellyfish in the video above.

  • I noticed what appears to be a "mini" desktop cylinder Biorb-style tank next to the 40 gallon tank. Do you offer this smaller cylinder model configured/modified for the moon jellies as well, or just the round bowl-style tank that is currently shown on your site and in the other videos?

  • This is the cylindrical version of our desktop tank, which will be available on our website within a month. We do have them available now, so if you want to order one right away you can do so by contacting us.

  • Thats a really cool aquarium.

  • so would i have to buy an ammonia kit?

  • You don't have to use an ammonia kit, but it can be a good idea to keep an eye on the ammonia levels during the first two weeks you have jellyfish. If the ammonia level gets high, you can dilute it by changing 25% of the water.

  • so should i buy one or two moon jellos fro the desktop? by the way whats a sea nettle and medusa jellyfish? is it a different type of jellyfish?

  • We recommend starting with 3 Mon Jellies on the Desktop Tank. A sea nettle is a type of jellyfish.

  • is the jellyfish friendly

  • Comment removed

  • Yes these are real live jellyfish.

  • Comment removed

  • Yes, but shipping overseas is very expensive. You will have to contact us for a shipping quote.

  • so can i just buy the charcoal portion and it that every six weeks as well?

  • Yes

  • ok so i was reading your website and it says i have to change the fiter every 6 weeks? can they be re used if their clean??

  • The charcoal portion of the filter should be replaced because it absorbs toxins in the water and must be discarded. However the sponge portion of the filter can simply be rinsed and replaced.

  • how about if you guys make a different color for the shirt.. liike a black and red?

  • You can order any color you want. Just email us with your request.

  • Can you guys hook me up with a free shirt if i buy a desk top and two moon jellyfish??

  • Maybe as part of our future promotions. You can join the monthly email newsletter list on our website to be notified of promotions.

  • OMG!!! I've been waiting years to buy something like this! People always told me it wasnt possible or just stupid..

    Does the desktop tank come with lighting of any kind

  • Yes, the Desktop Tank comes with a halogen light built-in.

  • cute xD

  • how big do they get?

  • how much is that tank? is it about 10,000 us?

  • The tank is $2,399 and available at JellyfishArt [dot] com. It comes with everything you need to get started.

  • Love the tank! I thought jellies needed a chiller unit. Does this depend on the type of jelly?

  • Yes, we offer a species of Moon Jellyfish that likes the water temperature at 77 degrees. As a result, the tank uses a heater instead of a chiller. We do this because heaters are inexpensive, silent, compact, and less prone to breaking.

  • wow...nice tank!

  • Is that an original tank or did reef one start making 40 gal bi-ubes? (well... without the bubble tube lol)

  • This is an original tank offered only by Jellyfish Art.

  • awsome shame you do not have a uk site

  • We can ship this tank and live jellyfish to the UK. Please contact us for a price quote since it will include fees for customs and shipping live animals.

  • what to feed

  • They eat a special frozen plankton available at Jellyfish Art

  • Thats cool...but...

    There is no way that is 40gal.

  • Au contraire my friend, it is in fact 40 gallons:

    Volume of a cylinder = pi * radius squared * height

    Radius = 9 inches

    Height = 36 inches

    Volume = 3.14 * 9 squared * 36

    Volume = 9,160 cubic inches

    1 cubic inch = 0.00433 gallons

    Volume = 9,160 * 0.00433 = 39.67 gallons

  • HaHa.. I like it. Little math lesson. Nice tank. How long does jellyfish live?

  • Jellyfish will liver several years in captivity.

  • wow truely awesome. they sell these jellyfish when they die encased in solid glass cause they glow in the dark
