Thats wack! I hope you get your problem solved. By the way i'm sure you have already tried but have you tried to reboot your touch? I had a home button problen on the Iphone and a fresh reboot seemed to solve the problem..... Good luck
Hey!.. Thanks for the comment!. I'm not sure if I have rebooted it, but I har done a soft rest.. Where I pressed & held down the power button & the home button @ the same time..
To reset the iPod Touch, press and hold down the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button simultaneously at the same time for at least ten seconds, then the LCD display will clear and the Apple logo appears on the black background. When Apple logo appears, reset is done.
Or maybe you can try to restore it through itunes.
What you just described would be what I call a soft reboot..... Wow! you need to get Apple to take you seriously. Find an Apple store and get that fixed or call until they dont want to hear you anymore.

u can have them call u if u go on their web site and go to support then contact and they will call u like the same day
