a friend of mine was betten cuz he was werein a rasta necklas and was suspected to be carryin weed, by the sa police, they beat him for 20min, n through him in the bak of the van, n made him walk from the station home, this country is so corrupt..

What were you doing there??? Blame the cops for doing weed but you yourself are inside the hawkers stall where he is selling pipes and (obviously) weed on the side...
the title is misleading and irresponsible.The cops are just doing their footpatrol,and chatting to a hawker,selling perfectly legal pipes etc...its called community policing.Probably Greenmarket square or something similar.I'm sure the rasta sells weed covertly,but that is neither here nor there.
I've been one year in south africa and almost everyone does it and its super cheap I paid R30 for 2 gramm and they probably ripped me off :D
