  • Not the first time David has mentioned Phil Collins as sort of the anti-thesis to his being, LOL

  • Little Wonder and Cactus.

  • whats the song at 1.18 being played? where david is holding his head in his hands? oh, and the one from 3.13 to 3.20? thanks!

  • he always says such interesting things, i want to converse with him

  • Nice interview. I've been wondering why he wasn't been out in circulation since the end of the Reality Tour - other than a guest appearance at an Arcade Fire show and a guest staring role on Ricky Gervais HBO show, Extras, a couple of years ago - and he dropped a hint in this interview, and that was that in his "quieter hours" he's pursuing spiritual matters. Couple that with his having had a heart attack near the end of the tour and, well, maybe it was time to concentrate on his family.

  • Woah, is that clip with him licking Gail somewhere on youtube?? Because I want to see it! LOL

  • @sannaols5582 he could lick me anytime he wanted.

  • Oh, please let him lick my head too.

  • I thank God every day for this man, he's truly amazing and even a little bit silly.

  • good interview. Bad voice synching

  • I hope everyone caught what he said about this century. Although, I guess this is the only century I'm very familiar with, sometimes it seems to just get worse and worse. I want to help steer the world in a positive direction. If David Bowie gives a darn, I think we all should!

  • lol, what a morning, poop

  • at 0.13 it says that americans believe that iraq has weapons of mass destruction,haha..

  • david bowie is better then phil collins

  • He Was lost in the wilderness whith only his drugs for companionship.:D:D:D He's could have become a comedian:P

  • hilarious!

  • Especially the mouth when he says it, genius!

  • He can't have fully retired!!! ='(

One more world tour! Just one!!! PLEEAASSEEE =(

  • Yeah, it's highly unlikely JohnnyD, after his heart attack/surgery/health issues in 04, it's understandable that he's tasted mortality and simply reprioritized to seeing his young daughter grow up...

  • Yeah I do understand that side...a part of me has come to that conclusion already but there's still that outrageous hoping side running free. Lol. But yes I do understand that he would be putting the most important things first and for that I respect him =)

  • @sparkalot I agree, but I think he could come back when he wants to or is ready too. I don't care what he does, it'd just be great to have him around. I'd love to hear his music in this modern age, because both him and I know it there's nothing great about mainstream.

  • @JohnnyDeppian I know. I would love to see him or hear him live, it'd be the first and last concert I would go to. :)

  • "And he was lost in the wilderness..." X'D

  • I finally understand why (unfortunately) stopeed touring. If it needs to go that way David, well then enjoy your welldeserved retirement.

  • man, I love him!

what I wouldnt give to go to one of his show....

  • Wonderful self-criticism!

  • Daaaaaaavid is sent from the gods.....

  • @Zengetsu203 I think he's one of them...

  • Being an artist, and as a kid, all I ever wanted to do is be your personal concubine.... Ooooops Freudian slip, my bad.

  • LMAO....good one

  • Isn't the clash between Bowie and the TV woman insane? I like this sooooo much. So real.

  • I love David Bowie!!!

Say, what's that music video during about 5:05- 5:12?

I'd like to watch it, but I don't know what it is....

  • The video is 'The Heart's Filthy Lesson'

    I know that one!

  • That music video at the 4:16 mark with the little girl, does anyone know what it's called? I'd like to watch it, but I don't know the name and can't find it anywhere. If someone could tell me I would really appreciate it! Thanks!

  • The song is called "Slow Burn". It's off the album "Heathen", and features fellow legend Pete Townshend on guitar. Enjoy!

  • thank you so much!!!!!

  • he's genius

  • Agree!!

  • wow!

  • I love this guy so much! So effing brilliant, and very very inspirational. Why, is he talented, sexy, and smart? It isn't really fair =P

  • I don't want to be ruled by that blindness at 1:52

  • Thank you!=)

And could someone tell me the other word& GUYS!=)))

  • Blandless - or a kind of boring, sameness. Simply the polar opposite of BOWIE. Please don't read a good book Bowie re 3.22!

  • I don't want to be ruled by that"blandness" the word meaning dull and uninspired...

  • Thanks for the "blandness" clear up. :)

  • Wuzzy wuzz?

  • Not an obsession at all sparkalot. It has always been my view.

  • This guy is so utterly sensual.

He would have made a great male model as he is so comfortable with his body.

Best voice in the music industry.

  • Do I detect an obsession in progress?

  • This is a very good clip, and (oh look) sparkalot's all over it of course! you obsessive woman LOL bit of a fan r u? Don't blame you one bit, it doesn't get much better than Bowie.

  • Yo mugglechops darling; as evidenced by your comment...you are obviously not knowledgable enough on the historical facts of Bowie's accumulated career. He has repeatedly experienced new, and creative career renaissances that have resonated strongly with critics, his industry peers, and his sophisticated world-wide audience.

  • I suggest you read my comments more clearly, you will then find that I ve got nothing but respect for the man and his misic

  • Nooooo problem mate, I'll drink to that...cheers!!

  • sorted

  • man who fell to earth style, but blonde, god yea mind you dont think havin his mad wife helped, have you seen that vid of him and bolan on the last marc show? thats good, been trawling through loads of bowie stuff, hes a legend,my fave period got to be 75 79 his last cd was great but that period does it for me wot about you? ieven think never let me down wasnt as bad as some say,and yes tin machine whwer good,he had to do that otherwise he was in danger of been a hasbeen

  • Hello again, only just read message. I love everything he's done, favourite songs are Ashes to Ashes,MWSTW,all Ziggy stuff and Hunky Dory but I never get bored with any of his music. Heathen and Outside are brilliant as well. He'll never be a hasbeen in my eyes.

  • Sorry deleted your e mail cud u send it again plz

  • David Bowie is the best, most creative artist ever. Never boring, never predictable - always original. Thanks for posting

  • yea hes still cool at 60,and all these young upstarts had best take note

  • I don't think he could ever be emulated - by way love your username!!

  • Theres been loads of bowie wannabes gary numen, every new romantic band, yea me name good eh? wanted halloween jack,as in diamond dogs, but some bugger had it,the swineGot to admit ive nicked his hairsyle, unfortunatly not his life style, lol

  • Which hairstyle have you got - there's been so many? Shame about lifestyle eh esp when he was younger (lol)

  • 'And he was lost in the wilderness!' I love that bit =]

  • He should get voice over work, imagine him doing the lottery? LOL

  • He is so "Real" not pretentious. I love the way he can change into any character and still be so appealing and amazing to see and hear. God bless David Bowie.

  • "But--" lol

  • Great david!

  • Your post of this clip has excellent audio. In Europe and the rest of the world Bowie is a long- established legend and Icon. With the exception of the more progressive regions of the continent, North America doesn't have the same level of cultural literacy. Bowie will forever remain the most creatively enduring, accomplished, intelligent and gracious performer of contemporary culture, what a gem, thanks.

  • uh...what a morning.... lol. So interesting and funny, as ever.

  • Top notch
