heres a clue dont crose over your own wake in the water or you will crash every time make two passes far apart then alow the wakes to disapate go away, in R/C drag boat racing you make a pass then wait two minutes before making your next pass for a record run down and back for the record run, i hope this helps i seen this guy do it twice its a common mistake to do this ok..! please don't replay to this comment i dont have time to answer back..!

There is a very good reason boats don't have downforce, you want as little of the boat in contact with the water as possible for speed. Only your control surfaces should contact the water if your boat is well set-up.
