It's a Poor and Weak President, that blames others, his predecessor, the Republicans, the founding fathers, the Tea Party, Joe Biden, his Dog, etc., for his, own Responsibilities and Actions, and or Inactions, which have caused great harm and damage to America, and the American People.
There's so little I like about Obama and his initial reaction in support of the mosque was too mealy-mouthed with the day after clarification, but here he demonstrates again that he's a great speaker and his response is 100% correct.
Thank you, Mr. President, for showing such a good example as an American and as a true Christian. Your words and your actions show that you truly love your neighbors. Thank you for putting into words so clearly the sentiment of (what at least I hope is) the majority of Americans, standing up for religious freedom while reiterating the need to protect ourselves from the actions of religious extremists, Islamic, Christian, or otherwise.
Bush always asked a liberal to ask the first question. Obama did not call one single conservative and the questions on the victory mosque were planted.
@statewithinastateuk Liberal versus conservative is a media created fiction to heighten ratings and divide those succumb easily to that mindset. Not that is matters but the Bush White House banned all staff members from appearing on MSNBC and did not credential Maureen Dowd for the majority of his administration. Both parties play the same game. If you paid attention, you would have realized the black reporter who asked Obama about the mosque was from Fox.
I wish that the Obama and Muslim haters out there would recognize that they are being played. Played by the very people that attacked us on 9/11 and being played by the far right wing in this country and around the world who greatly benefit from arms sales and many other things that conflict generates. Divide and conquer has and always will work if the conquered don't see the futility of their prejudices. What a world that we could have if we woke up from this madness.

Obama press conference. I know every thing is all fucked up and like our country is about to fall off a cliff and shit like that. But Honestly it is that other guys fault ! I know I said I wanted to be President, but I didn't know how hard it was gonna be since that other guy was here oh and that whole other Republican party thing is just whack. So please don't blame me or expect me to really do anything. Now leave me alone I'm gonna go play golf or take another vacation of something ....
I don't think you could've been any clearer Mr. President. I hope your clarity was just as visible to everyone else. I support you a 100% as my president and what you've done. Things aren't going to magically get better over night. If we can give an idiot 8 years to ruin the country, we should give Obama a little time to untangle the leftover mess.
@21tictac There is one big problem Obama is following Bush policies and putting them on steroids. That is why we are so slow to see recovery. The economy goes through ups and downs naturally. But the more government intervenes in downturns the longer a recession last. You can see that throughout our history. When Government stays out of the way and lets the economy correct itself we have a much faster recovery. The bigger gov. grows the more costly it is for all of us.
11 seconds ago @contraflexure1 , Mmmh "Fuckin Muslim "Hussein" oh shut the hell up dont be racist just because hes using the same vocabulary! ugh if you dont like muslims in america then GTFO
Pres. Obama presents a cogent, well-considered and common sense POV in an increasingly fragmented moral & political landscape. The fact that he's able to do this whilst being clearly fed-up-to-the-back-teeth with ignorance & hate & having to repeat it all yet again for the cameras? We're gonna play this back in future & wonder why we didn't listen.
By abandoning principle in his first 18 months (Gitmo, War, Illegal spying, unconstitutional suspension of liberties, no public option in health care, no financial reform when it counted when they had the Wall street scum over the barrel on the bailout, preservation of the institutional oligarchies and privatizing profits and socializing losses) Obama has lost the 30% of voters in the middle
@neumann103 But how much of that is his fault? Gitmo, spying, and suspension yes, totaly his fault. The reform and public option you have to blame on politics on both sides.
I'm not an Obama lover (I did vote for him solely on the feeling he would bring the US up to speed both domesticly and on foreign shores...) but any president gets way too much crap when things dont go a certain way. Congress has to bear a burden as well.
@nofear04 exactly he can not pass the laws all by himself! And let's be honest as far as I can see the Republicans go out of their way to block everything they possibly can.
Do you want to live in a democratic republic or do you want to be ruled by an imperialist, smug, do as I say or I will call Marshall Law on ya piece of crap.
it is a response like this that saddens me because it shows what an Obama presidency could have been if he had just stuck to principles. Someone asks a question and he gives a logical, sensible, principled, elegant and finally impassioned response about the obviousness of doing the right thing. But i guess if this happened behind closed doors this would be worn down by 24 hours of Rahm Emmanuel chastising that they have to compromise. No they don't.
@Drav1212 Yea... I dunno either Drav. All I can think of is that these hand full of people have connections and hidden bases some where that are hard to find.
@Drav1212 No, it takes 50K, or more, troops to try to keep a band-aid on a seriously fuck-up situation. All we actually needed to deal with Bin Laden and his gang were a few spy planes, some Special forces, heightened police action and a burst of diplomacy in the region - just as John Kerry had said a long time ago. You send in an army to fight terrorists only if you want to profit from a war and have no intention of dealing with the terrorist problem.
Our MOSQUES give us strength?! Last I checked this country wasn't founded on Islam. What a fucking loser.

high profile people who have acknowledged the ISRAELI MOSSAD involvement in the 9/11 attacks
I can list several off the top of my head:
former head of the US ARMY WAR COLLEGE, Dr Alan Sabrosky
former PRESIDENT OF ITALY, Francesco Cossiga
former MI5 agent, Annie Machon
renowned BBC correspondent Alan Hart
US Marine Ken O’keefe
there are more, but these are the ones I can list off the top of my head

Obviously, by the looks of the highest rated comments, there are still plenty of idiots in the country.
I feel reassured now. Thank you.
