My uncle said it was a hard game, but fun as shit when you knew what to do.

In the past few weeks i didn't install the game because of it looked boring.

After a few days i was bored like shit and just installed it.

3 years later my PC got owned and got a new Hard Drive.

I've played all 3, and Rise of Nations, even though it got great reviews, is underrated. The AI, the National Borders, the strategy, all good. But after I got over my addiction on that game (About a year or 2), I started playing total war, which I'm actually enjoying more than RON.
