@metachozo it wasn't actually one in particular but i satrted goin for the older one, then i did the newer helmet design lines on the top but the air circulation hoses are made of actual goodyear brand hoses.

@xyifer12 i know. the visor looked lighter before i put it in and it was very difficult to find a light green visor. i also had leds in it to light it up but they just reflected off of the inside and i couldn't see out. But all of these issues were resolved with the replicas. this was just my "prototype"

I've seen many people on here that have tried to make the entire Samus armor, but they all look far to short and FAT! HAHAHAA!! One big cause of this, is the size of their helmets. They are much too big for those little bodies!

Do you think there's a way to proportionate the armor & helmet correctly??

i tried it, i had leds set up in the four corners of the visor on the inside but it would reflect off of the visor and i couldnt see out when i was wearin it. maybe i could set them up a different way but i just left them out for now.

How much would one of those be replicated ? aswell as changing the colour more accurate, perhaps ridding of the lines on the back, and for example green lens on the eye area? Anyways nice helmet all the same. Least you guys got most of the size accurate. I hate when the most area longates.

the gap is incase i made the suit the body armor on my shoulders could fill in that gap. if it were down to the shoulders i wouldnt have room for the rest of the suit n shoulders pads to fit right. oh and theres no blueprints, i just made it by looking at pics of the samus helmet on google :) im going to be posting a video soon on how i made it cause i took pics and vids of the whole thing.

Where you going for the older style Samus helmet or what? Theres different verisons of her helmet.

You might want to photograph/film the helmet in a better lit room because its hard for me to see the details color on it in this video.

Craftmenship wise, it looks sturdy and well built. Good job with the green visor on the interior. Again hard to really see it because the room is very poorly lit.

I'd also like to see if maybe you can put more color on it than just orange.

I regrettably havent played the other Metriod games so i didnt know. Thats coo though.

I still think it would be a good idea to film the helmet in a better lit location. I just cant appericate the work you did on it in this video due to the really bad lighting.

Also if you and your buddy are serious about making a power suit, do some massive PRE PLANNING. That'll be alot of hard work, so you'll need to make sure you got material, reference, and people to critique your work in progress.
