OK lets be realistic the point of impact into the fence and likely the area where the fans were injured was at least 50 feet to the left of the camera view. not to mention the fact that the injured were in the first few rows and your about 10 or so rows back. so quit rationalizing

Pause the video right after point of impact. you will see the car passing me upside down less than a second after it hits the fence. My Point is if the car would have came inside the fence the ducking time would have been very limited. Take notice all the people that didnt even see the car in the air.

That would have been a perfect shot if you kept the camera up. Everyone's instincts react differently, but I know I wouldn't have ducked. I video my local dirt track every week & although a car hasn't come through the fence, nothing has phased me the past 4 years. The camera shields part of my face and even if I did die, someone would see my camera and my video would live on forever. I guess my instincts are like the cameraman for the Steve Park Pocono flip, aimed right at him and didn't flinch.
