That's a quick way to drop the iodine onto your thyroid, drinking it, as the thyroid is at the base of the neck. But on the skin surface is a good way to test your level of iodine. I've read that you can consume as much as 100,000 times the USRDA of iodine without any ill effect. Reason being, 90% of what your body does not need is vacated by urination within 24 hours.
