@Lolliloll1285 Yup, that's right :D! Normal maps are what you would call, a texture that controls how the lighting creates shadows\bumps on the model. So yea, this means a lot more detail :3

Only thing is, you'll need open sauce. Which is free, hence the punny name :3.

You guys are messing up my favorite thing about CE. The weapon sandbox. It was done perfectly in that game.

No matter though, I can see the awesome amount of work gone into this. I just wish you guys would release a "Classic" version, with the same weapons and gameplay. But nobody seems to understand me.

@sipher100 The main thing it's missing is it lacks vegetation, and there's no dynamic shadows.

I'm sure if they add that in down the line (it's open source so it shouldn't be that bad) it will be much more comparable to CEA.

CEA will probably still look a little better though.

Holy sishcabobs, this is like CEA! But with more weapons and better graphics. They made a much larger step from the previous ones, out of the "gloominess" it's like waiting for trek battles 3 for ST: Legacy. But there may be one over looked detail; an animation for putting away a weapon before the animation of pulling out the weapon. If that is included, then It would look much better.
