  • Oh shit! I played with my band in the button south as an opening band back in the mid 80's... Holy shit this brings back memories.

  • @DEADNUNSANDBABIES PUSH REUNION SOON (I hope)

  • @doucheteeth send me your brother's e-mail address or phone#... And Merry Christmas dude.

  • i,D LIKE TA SEE MORE FOOTAGE OF THE OL, NIGHTS @ THE bUTTON! lOVED RIDIN, THERE ON MY hARLEY AND GOING OUT ON THE FLOOR AND DANCING AND HOOKIN, UP WITH A LIL, HOTTIE AND THEN SLEDDING OUTTA THERE WITH HER ON THE BACK ! sLUTTIN, @ THE bUTTON WAS MY FAVORITE SPORT IN THE EARLY 90S.

  • Nice!! I would kill for a band like that today, great musicians!!

    Tuff Luck rocks!!

  • We used to look forward to Tuff Luck shows at L'amour in Brooklyn. As part of the "L'amourons"

(locals/L'amour regulars) I think we always gave you guys a warm welcome and in return you guys would always rip the roof off the place.Always wondered what happened to you guys,, now I know. RIP Todd, and to the rest of you guys thanks for the awesome performances.. Tuff Luck, a favorite in my book..

  • As much as I hate to say it I was there and don't remember any of this, I must have had a great time. The Button South ruled, as the Agora Ballroom and the Button South. I wonder what happened to Bijon?

  • Love it

  • I miss those nights so much. It's a shame that everything has to come to an end. And I miss Todd more than I could ever express in words. He was such an awesome person. Much as I hate seeing myself in these videos, I love that you have them. ~ Stephanie

  • Man we used to crank these mf''s while we were gettin' slammed on a Friday nite cookin' in a hotter than hell kitchen in ol' Virginia. Jimmy Fiddler was our non-stop scout for new music and he discovered these guys and played the hell outta their first record. The guitar player is phenomenal as well as the rest of the guys. Where are you guys now have you been able to keep rockin? Now with you tube and the web I imagine you all have found a whole new audience.

  • Sorry to say, but they split in 1994 after Todd died.

I wished to god that it didn't happen to him, because these dudes kicked ass and deserved a bigger audience.

  • Tuff Luck was a rockin act. I used to work with James Marino, the bassist. Have you kept in touch with him.

Todd was the man, RIP my friend.

  • what year is this?

  • 1991 or 1992

  • I had the first album and I always thought the guitar player was great. A real nice fluid style with great phrasing.

  • Todd was my uncle. I swear to god. I miss him so much!!! =( Great. No I'm crying. His sister's name is Amy (Which is my mom), and his brother's name is Andrew. I miss you Todd!

  • Tell Amy I said hey... She was really nice to me when I was living with Todd and his family. I have some more pictures and video of Todd; I'll post them when I have time. I hope your family is well.

I still can't celebrate Independence Day without tearing up. Regardless of what some people say, I really miss him and hope people remember him for what a great person he was, forget the fact that he was an amazing drummer.

  • You knew my mom? What is your name?

  • I was the singer... Rick Maurer (not little Rick). I was living with Todd for about 9 or 10 months when I was in the band. Amy, and Todd's entire family for that matter, were really good to me. Tell everyone I said hello when you see them.

  • You and the band were incredibly talented...you should be so proud of these songs! My husband and I loved coming to your shows in S. FL and I wore your album out! I worked with Andrew and was very sad when Todd was killed. What are you doing now? Any new band?

  • Todd was an extremely gifted talent (if you can make drums sing you're doing something right!) Todd accomplished what Neil would be proud of, anybody I know that heard Todd wanted him in their band, I MEAN EVERYBODY!!!

  • T.K. were and always will be an amazing drummer

    Rest In Peace

  • I miss him... He was an amazing drummer and a great friend.

  • Watching the Tuff Luck videos brings back a lot of memories of Todd. Were you close to him at all Kenny? He was an exceptional drummer and a really good friend to me when I needed it most. I really miss him. Let me know if you want that Dick Gozinya song -- It would be perfect for your haunted titty bar movie.

  • Yeah, that's what I thought

  • I love this fucking song dude! Rick I really wish you would have stayed in PUSH, they were super talented and they were cool to the fans. I searched for Joe Taylor and he is still playing with Lita Ford but where are the rest of the guys? E-mail me dude.

  • I haven't talked to anyone but Jimmy in the last few years, he's still in Jersey. I thought Joe was in L.A. playing in some band, but I know he played with Doro and Lita so the fact that you heard he's with Lita doesn't surprise me. He's amazing, he really is.

  • that singing hits me like a Sucker Punch hehe

  • lets start a tuff luck tribute band. sounds cool good to see more local music on u tube. more more more

  • That is COOL!
