Is it just me, or are Madison's comments to Ethan a bit heartless and inconsiderate? The guy loses his two sons and it's extremely obvious he blames himself, but she seems more interested in making him start up a new family immediately and is pretty much saying 'ah, you'll forget it ever happened; man up and give me your baby!'

Dominic Santiago's entire story from the Gears of War series was incredibly depressing. I didn't cry, but watching Marcus' reaction to Dom's suicide was the closest I've ever came to crying from a video game.

Actually that's not true. In Final Fantasy X you can name Tidus whatever you want, so the party refers to him as "He" or "You" since you can name him. Play Dissidia Final Fantasy as well and they pronounce his name "Teedus"

@OvationGames This is true, but there is one time in FFX where no matter what you name your character, they'll call you Tidus. At the beginning of the game when you are in Zanarkand, talk to all the people on the bridge while the announcer does his thing, and someone will say "Go Tidus!" or something along those lines. I know you probably don't care, but I thought it was a pretty neat find :P

thank you for your hard work, i loved that video, thoug i have played only a few of them. read Dead redemption is quite high in my fav list, i loved the songs in the game, they were rare but perfectly timed- "far away" when you arrived in mexico, "Compass" you riding home to your little family, "Dead man´s gun" at the very end, when you´re sad beyond limits because John is dead and the game is over , In "my" heavy Rain madison died, and a journalist commented her death without real regret,

but Ethan was there and creid for her. But my most emotional moment so far was in Nier when i had to kill the shadows during the second playthrough. The whole game is depressing, nothing ever good happens in it, Emil sacrifices himself, but the worst part was after i Killed the faithful cerberus, i cried hard and was very happy that no-one was at home. Non-Gamers will never understand why you can be so upset about a game, abozut a characters death, but we know - having spent so many hours with.

Very nice list my friend, Heavy Rain's ending had so much emotion in every moment that it's truly one of the games that you can shed a tear from. One of my saddest moments is in Final Fantasy 9 the Black Mages sacrificing themselves to save Vivi during the battle against Black Waltz 3 and just seeing all of them fly away man it really is sad especially the hat flying away it triggers Vivi anger.
