  • I like it! I could barely hear that in the actual trailer.

  • I want O' Donnell for the soundtrack!!!!!!!!!

  • @HighwayStarRevisited Marty is a Bungie employee...So I'm afraid that's not going to be possible since 343 Industries are making this game...

  • hello ms aaaaa

  • The music doesn't sound like past Halo music, but I like it. Funny how Chief throws his pistol away like "oh shit".

  • Nice.

  • If anyone wants to know this isn't Martin or Sotaro, it's probably a custom cue made by a separate company, because it was stated at the pax panel for halo 4 that the music for the original awakening trailer was not by either but a separate company

  • wow, i prefer this one over the other one

    mainly the music

from the new trailers at halofest and stuff, i think i might like this soundtrack better, and the shit in the concept art trailer, that stuff just gave me chills, lookin forward to halo 4

  • Here's the difference between the regular directors cut audio to this:

The volume of the sound effects have been toned down., so that the music will be loader and clearer.

  • Possibly Composed by: Sotaro Tojima. It says that his latest project is "Halo 4" on his Wikipedia page. He's a music composer, so he MUST be the new composer for Halo 4.

  • @AwesomeHaloMusic

Interesting. I never even thought they would release a "Director's Cut". Either way, I am pleased with this music...there are some parts where you can hear some monks I believe. haha

  • @AwesomeHaloMusic Nah its still the old composer, trust me look it up :) if it wasn't Marty i wouldn't buy Halo 4

  • @HalaZyce No, it can't be Martin O' Donnell. He said that he was "done with Halo" and to further support this, he's a Bungie employee, which means he composes music exclusively for Bungie and Bungie ONLY. Halo 4 is being made by 343 Industries. They are NOT Bungie. Which means that Marty is not the composer of this. It's quite unfortunate, really. And that means you won't be buying Halo 4.

  • @HalaZyce Check the description for sources.

  • @HalaZyce Dude i was so scared when people started saying Marty was leaving. Omgggggg you don't even know.

  • @momo1748 Martin O' Donnell never even joined, so how could he leave? He's a Bungie employee, which is why he was never hired for anything else. He's composing the music of "Destiny" AKA "Tiger", codenames for Bungie's next game. He never joined 343 Industries. He wasn't even supposed to compose Halo 4's music. He never left. He never even joined in the first place.
