this is a great poem rai very visual and heart felt im very thankful for veterans and service men and women and my heart also reaches out to the military families that are the back bone of all military personnels.... im very thankful and proud of my culture (navajo) be cause with them and their unbreakable code it saved lives of 1000 and helped end WWII. Look up and read about the Navajo Codetalkers

@jwalravens03 Thanks Jovi! I am glad you liked it! Writing poetry is a new thing for me and it really came out of no where! I know all about the Navajo Codetalkers. I have seen a documentary on them and there was a movie...I can't quite remember the name. Windtalkers, I think!

This was amazing. Everything about it. Your poem was great. I listened to most of it with my eyes closed and could really feel the emotion and passion that it was representing. The slide show at the end was awesome as well. This is truly a tribute. <3

@SamiSioux That was what I learned about poetry....it's not so much the sequence or grammar...it is the visuals and feel you get from what is being said. Very much like music. I am glad you liked it. Was definitely something I have never tried, and funny thing was it didn't take much effort at all...it did however, take a lot of feeling & passion to accomplish. :)
