"As" is about a never ending cosmic love and then it's followed by "Another Star". A cosmic celebration of a love lost. The same love sung about in "As". Why is it a celebration? This was my hidden treasure from the Songs from the Key of Life. I would not let the Album rest until I heard this and made everyone see that this was actually the 'star' of that great, great album. I went to a concert that was unadvertised in 1979 thanks to a dear friend and stevie performed with the 100 piece Black philarmonic orchestra. He introduced the secret life of plants album. I made the statement that before I die I wanted to see him in concert. It was the mostest, bestest concert I've ever attended. Can you imagine a 100 piece orchestra. This was recorded back in the day before they could take a drum track and loop it into a repeat. The drummer had to have it together for the entire track or one mis-beat could mean having to do the whole thing over! These were REAL musicians who worked hard, unlike many "musicians" today who rely heavily on electronic loops and distortions.
