@mammothturtle No idea, Just throwing this out there, but in ME2 in the suicidal mission, EDI says the Reaper has Organic signatures as well as an energy signature. Maybe there was a race that built themselves into the Reapers.

Anyways, hoping it'll be revealed in ME3, 2 days until it comes out in UK though :(

@halomo81 Yes ,Cerberus is trying to kill Commander Shepard in ME3. TIM went and got indoctronated on us somehow mand is now backing the Reapers with troops , resources ,and Cerberus experiements gone wrong.
