@WoordWerks But you live under a premise i do not accept and is the cause of much of christianities issues. the fact they beieve everyone is born with sin and that everything is selfish, so hence eveyone need to be saved. Christianity doesnt cut through that, it makes even more cloudy. there are incredibly important spiritual reasons to be a good person, but sitting in judgement from a guy who died 2,000 years ago isnt one of them.

Everything in the bible was manuafatured through an assembly of books, choosen by men over a thousand years after christ and all his diciples were dead. It is Religion that puts conclusions forth on a subject so complex. That is why religion has barely changed in 100's of years. yea thats actually very true, when humans die the body floods the brain with a chemical called Dopamine which causes you to be in a very happy state of mind where u feel no pain, hungry, or sadness, but this depends on what you believe will happen when u die, if you are so strongly convinced that you are going to hell for "sins" you have committed you actually create a "Hell" in your own mind, kinda like the move Matrix where ur plugged into a fake world within ur own mind!

I think you can pair that philosophy with that of the corrupting power of currency. If it weren't for religion's massive monetary profit potential I doubt the whole religious mentality would have been so governmentally reinforced. Therefore it wouldn't have"taken off" as is demonstrated today.
