  • They are dressed as gypsies and dancing, therefore, they are dancing gypsies. Duh.

Aaaand, there is quite a bit of belly dancing in there. How can you say it's not a "real" dance? They are dancing.

  • So if you write apache dance theatre, and some people making belly dance you cant say ,,they are not trying realy to make apache dance,,. So what is this video about? By the way this is not gypsy dance and also not real belly dance. I think this people only try to make some show for entertainment, but dont call it gypsy dance because its lie. It is all. Do me a favour dont tease me for your comments writing be back. Merry christmas and happy new year.

  • Than your write: I was just pointing out that these dancers were not trying to be "real" gypsies. Whoever posted the video called them that. My dear Promthanius. So we can called this video Apache dance theatre, and some band of retards can dance something like belly dance. Many idiots who know absolutely nothing about gypsies can think that this is a real gypsy dance. And this is what I am writing about all time. Do you understand what I write. Its about headline and watching video.

  • Only asshole can write something like this. You write: I know plenty about gypsies as I have learned their entire history from two Roma and I've been studying Romani people for two years. What? So you study roma people for two years? Ok, you know absolutely everything about gypsies. Other people, very educated people, study romani culture more than 20 years and they write, that its not enough time to know everything about gypsies! So stop writing bullshits you diot. I am sorry for you.

  • 1. there is no gypsy women

    2. this is not a gypsy music

    3. this is not a gypsy dance

    4. this video has nothing to do with gypsies

  • @Ispyyourmind1 True, it's not gypsy dancing. It's closer to belly dancing. And no, those are not gypsies. But this isn't REAL life. This is the Renaissance festival. They are not Romani, but maybe they are pretending to be a traveling group from Arabia? That would make them gypsies. Not Rroma, but gypsies all the same. But again: They are PRETENDING. The renaissance festival is there to entrance and entertain. Represent your people better and be kind. Spread knowledge, not anger.

  • @Promthanius Represent your people better and be kind? Who do you think you are you dement! Spread knowledge, not anger? My boy, only retarded idiot like you can write something like this. I am not angry, I am just write about bad headline. And by the way your knowledges are low, for next hold your comment if you know shit about gypsies, you stupid uneducated loser.

  • @Ispyyourmind1 Hahaha, my "knowledges" are not "low". Clearly. Since I was explaining that this is the Renaissance Festival. And I am far from uneducated. I know plenty about gypsies as I have learned their entire history from two Roma and I've been studying Romani people for two years. So I know a few things about them. I wasn't angry either and I'm still not. I was just pointing out that these dancers were not trying to be "real" gypsies. Whoever posted the video called them that.

  • im a REAL gypsy and thats not gypsy dancing thats belly dancing

  • @barcha10 It does use moves from belly dancing yes. Are you Roma? If so, think of this group like this: maybe they are traveling gypsies (not Rom) from Arabia? Yes, I know they are actors and not really Arab, but it's all pretend. So maybe they are not Roma, but still playing as gypsies. They are there to entertain. God bless you and your gypsy famili!!

  • These guys are wonderful! I saw them this last weekend at the Texas Renaissance Festival and they were probably one of my favorite shows and made my first visit to TRF unforgettable.

  • Gypsy?????

  • Very cute, girls - loved the enthusiasm!

  • They dance well - middle eastern and belly dance style to be sure - but distinct in that they lack the varied movement and elongated rhythum of our traditional dancing.

The "Chorus" formation does not originate with our race - a modern tool for the Gadge audience - but none-the-less entertaining.

The lady on the left, with the black/gold skirt has the most natural rhythum and quality of the group.

    Oprey Roma!

  • @shahnee66 This was a wonderful comment! Thank you for your open-mindedness and for telling the gedje that they dance well. I love the Eastern dance myself. May you be blessed!! If a real Rom ever told me that i dance well...Well, I think that would be my ticket to heaven!!

  • sorry, a "said'i" rithme... bye! I like you!

  • very funny!!! :) :) but that' a simple tabla solo, with the "maxum" rithme... you can found this rithme in ALL MIDDLE EASTERN MUSIC, and also in the South Italy... and this dance is not gipsy, is a cabaret style... but nice, and funny!!!

  • good 4 a guyjo i mean not gypsy

  • Very cute! Looks like these girls are having so much fun! I always love performances where there is more than one dancer. Always found a few belly dancers together were so amazing.

  • Georgous. Very helpful for my upcoming job as a gypsy at my local renaissance fair!

  • That sounds fun.

    PS: no PS

  • Very nice! I enjoyed this very much, thanks for posting.
