  • im a little over 5' 6" ...this bike too tall for me?

    can it be lowered?

    thanks..

  • what a lovely sound!!

    nice bike

  • Very nice and vintage looking bike! I'm wanting to get one exactly like this to save gas and show a piece of my vintage loving style. Two thumbs up on this bike!!

  • great streetsound! i love my thruxton

  • hi, i want to get a motorcycle and I would love a Triumph Thruxton such as this. Do you think its a good bike for my first one? I dont really know too much about motorcycles. Any feed back would be much appreciated! Thank you!

  • i like the bonnies i really do. but my favorite part of every day is cracking the throttle open on my 09 street triple r. feeling the front wheel come off the ground at 8k and not really trying hard to do that. the way it sounds running 60 in 4th gear when i lay on the throttle and let it carry me away into a completely lawless abyss. i'll run fourth out to about a hundred before i kick her into fifth. (six speed)

  • Friend of mine fitted predators to a Bonnie, but with the Thruxton downpipes to give the up-sweep. Sounded bloody lovely.

  • I came here to check out the sound of those pipes and ended up checking out your rear fender elimination. Is that a kit? if so, where'd you buy it at. I love how low profile it makes the taillights look

  • beautifulllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll

  • cafe racer ftw!

  • Nice looking and sounding bike. Too bad they're so slow .Make it 100+ bhp and I 'm in

  • @pencon61 I do think the Thruxtons should have more power, even should have better braking and handling as well, but I would probably say the same about any bike after I owned it for awhile (wanted more power from the Speed Triple). Thing is, more power, better handling, better braking, then the price would go up. It has enough performance to have fun within the legal and safe limits for street riding (that is of course after an exhaust and intake upgrade).

  • @OldSkoolFool240Z

Thruxton is not a bike to race...and not to goo to slow...you can use at his maximum in the road.

This is important 'cause today there are very very few bikes that you can use at their 100% on the public road.

  • @OldSkoolFool240Z i agree with you 100% i have never understood why people are obsessed with crazy fast motorcycles. If you ask me most of those people dont think logically and will end up putting the bike down at some point. For myself, i like to keep it safe and fun

  • @OldSkoolFool240Z Hello, I just purchased a 2012 Thruxton and was just curious as to which rear fender eliminator you used. It seems that all the rear eliminators fit up to the 08 Thruxtons.

  • @pencon61

I am not sure what you mean by slow? My bonnie easily cruises at 80mph, and can do the same at 90+mph, which is more than enough speed. Anyhow, bonnies and thruxtons are not 'sports' bikes, it is not about speed but rather, style, classic look/feel, and just pure motorcycling engineering genius! So, class-ic riding may not be for you. Btw oldskool, nice bike! I listened to a thruxton yesterday with predator pipes, it sounded great and looked beautiful!

  • @salafibrouae My TL1000s is in 3rd at 90 mph ,Don't get me wrong that's a good looking Triumph but it's hard to go down 30+ bph when your spoiled with power

  • @pencon61

Your TL1000 is a nice bike... I can relate to the feeling of going 'down' in power and speed, as I once went from a 1600cc bike down to 500cc. Thanks for the comment, and Ride safe.

  • @pencon61 This bike is a throwback. 50 years ago, nobody would have even imagined 70hp being considered "slow".

Compare it to a i4 liter bike and yeah, it's slow. But for what it is, it's actually a pretty quick ride.

  • really nice bike, probably my next one !

  • Very nice. I like the tail-light modification. I love the Thruxton, but that gives it a slightly cleaner look.

Oh yea, it sounds fantastic! GREAT BIKE!

  • donne e motori,gioia e dolori??anche per te?

  • what a gorgeous machine.

  • that's one wicked mofo

  • Nice ride man, is it comfortable to ride? a bit of a lean forwards it appears.

  • @JazzFiveO Yea, with the clip on bars, definitely has a lean towards the front. Newer ones have an actual bar and less lean. I wouldn't call the ride comfortable due to leaning so much. Actually less comfortable than my bud's 636 since the tank on the 636 actually helped you support yourself using your legs where as with the Thruxton, there isn't that leg support sinc e the tank is so skinny so it's all up to your back (or arms if you're not riding properly).

  • never been a big fan of Predator, but sweet bike!

  • fuckin' good toy!!!

  • What a beautiful machine.

  • paidia, paizoun metaxeirismena, rota stous sinergeiades ths triumph! enallaktika, pairneis ena bonneville, k me liges metatropes, eisai komple!! einai to idio mhxanaki!! ego etsi ekana!!

  • very nice bike!!!

    i realy want one!!!

but right now i cant afford it.

10.000 euros in Greece and you cant find a used one!!!

  • Geesh! That seems very high. I have seen some nice used ones with low mileage and some upgrades for around $4500 in the United States. Might be less expensive to ship one out from the USA!

  • einai ontws gamw ta ergaleia k h alh8eia einaiws edw mono kainourgia paizoun!!!!!!!!!!!!lclassic cafe racing!!!!!!

  • @dimitrisarvanitis Buy a good second hand one from the UK for almost £4000. Take

it back to Greece and re register it for a small fee and adapt the head light for the Greek roads (UK drive on the left so their headlights are setup for that position) That's what i'll be doing for Italy.

  • the English make quality products

  • @boywaimea,lol we make SOME quality products

  • Do a search on " BRITISH IRON INTERNATIONAL RIDERS ASSOCIATION "

    Great site, good bunch.

  • Nice.

  • Gorgeous.

  • PERFECT look! you nailed it!

  • Love the bike. Looks/sounds great!!

  • anybody know where i can find a triumph dealer in NC?

  • go to the triumph website

  • like i said on your other video, perfect bike

any idea how much money total you've put into it?

  • I didn't put too much money into the bike. I bought it with the Predators and few other mods already done to it. Main thing I did was airbox removal, pod filters, rejet, changed the gauge cups, and had the front fender painted black.

  • Thanks for posting this video. I've been curious about how this exhaust actually sounds...Simple conclusion - - wonderful exhaust note! Thanks, again.

  • Very cool exhaust....also, which tail light kit did you use? I like it!

  • Great video! Do believe I need one...

  • Looks AWESOME... I gotta get one

  • OH MY GOD I WANT ONE! that is awesome.

  • Je la veut !!!!!!!

  • Elle est magnifique cette moto !!

  • sounds soo sexy..but isnt it idling too fast?

  • Closest you can come to a Norton Manx...

  • a new old bike. see it first time here in this clip :)

    beautiful

  • Vry, very nice bike and sound!

  • that's beautiful.

  • who designed the thruxton engine? was it triumph or suzuki ... sounds lovely :)

  • Triumph actually did.

  • GOOGLE "NEW BONNEVILLE RIDERS"

  • Gaaaaad!!! That sounds really SWEET! I'm ready to either drill out my baffles or go with predators on my thrux. I think you just made my mind up for me. That's a great sound. ("generator" WTF... lol. They just don't understand do they)?

  • I'm in the market for a motorcyle and I narrowed it down to two but, I'd appreciate some input.

DOES ANYONE HAVE ANY INFORMATION ON THE SUZUKI BOULEVARD M50 AND THE TRIUMPH THRUXTON????

At 1st I liked the Thruxton because I like that old school, cafe racer, Norton-look. Then I noticed the agressive look of the Suzuki Boulevard M50...

  • ...THE PROBLEM IS: I heard the Thruxton & with stock pipes it sounds like a generator. With an aftermarket exhaust it sounds like my quad & I want a beefy, throaty sound. Think H.D. Sportster. If I were to get the Boulevard I would be debaffeling the pipes. However, I heard that the Boulevard lacks power 4 being a cruiser....

  • ...The other things I was comparing are the weights & sizes.

    Boulevard = 544 lbs. 805cc's

    Thruxton = 451 lbs. 865cc's

I'm not looking 2 cruise the freeway at 100+ mph but, I do want somethig that I can easily pass up cars in if I need too...so, I do want some hp & torque. Like I said, any help or information would be greatly appreciated.

  • GOOGLE "NEW BONNEVILLE RIDERS"

  • Where did you buy these pipes from? Can you post a link? On a scale of 1 to 10 of loudness what would you rate them? Are you happy with them?

  • is it idling high? Maybe not, I'm new to the Triumph motorcycles. (sweet ass bike by the way)

  • very beautiful but sounds like a generator...

  • The sound is fantastic, but I have the same problem that the italian guy. With these exhausts they can blow my economy.

  • how far do you get on a full tnk??

  • 190-220 Km, no so much ;)

  • your thrux is very fantastic!! i love predator but in Italy is impossible to use those exhausts on the road :-(

  • Sweeet!Thank you for putting this up.

  • Although I am not a fan of sporty bikes I must say: the styling of the bike, the twin engine and its beautiful engine sound are awsome! I want one too, but I think it would not remain in the immaculate condition like this one...

  • I agree, good comment. I am a fan of sporty bikes though.

  • simply fantastic, very good looking bike

  • Oh Mama!!!!:D

  • I will have this bike. I actually like what they've done with the '08 and I'm considering heading over there within the next month and getting myself one. I had a hard on for the Duc SC's, but for 12 out the door, I say fuck that, go English.

  • Ya, those Duc's sure a pretty bikes, better performance than the Thruxton but for what the Duc costs, it's not very good value.

  • i want one

  • I say old boy, Your bike is the dog's nut's.

  • commando with pea shooters sounds better......

  • geiles motor

  • Looks as sweet as it sounds... sounds as sweet as it looks! Very nicely detailed. Chrome bits and the compact signals really enhance the effect.

  • sweeetness! i want one!

  • Love it !! Best Vid out there for the Preds .

Just wondering what everyone thought of the Bub 2-2 Full Exhaust System ? ,and is their a North American distributor for the British Customs Predator Exhaust ?? Or do you have to order them through British Customs ??

    Thanks all.

  • Damn it... i'm all jealous again now.

    gotta get one man

  • Got the 07 with D&D's myself and what an improvement to stock that is Unbelievable!

Good to see and hear Triumphs thumpin about

  • So, did you replace all your plastics? Looks like an 07 not an 05...great sound nice bike!!

  • Nope, it's an '05. Prior owner had a solid stripe put on.

  • BAD ASS SOUNDING TRIUMPH. I LOVE IT.

  • where do you get the predators? and how much approx?

  • Nice job, nice sound 1 inch thinner sadle and we have a winner!

  • doble uve doble uve doble uve todociclomotores punto net/foro/

    ahí mas

    there more

  • What mirrors are those?

  • Napoleon bar end mirrors. Can find em for about $28 a piece.

  • Did you have to re-drill or modify to install? BTW, I'm getting the same exhaust..thanks for the vid. Nice bike.

  • Great looking/sounding bike - god I'm jealous!!!!!!1

  • ...I Had Buy this Jewel...Is a dream...Great Video...Great Personalizzation...!!!!

  • nice bike, this clip was exactly what i was lookin for thanks brotha

  • man.....that is one beautiful bike. that sound is pure music

  • even

  • nice steady sound. any vids of it doing a fly-by? would love to hear the een firing order twin.

  • I have a video on-board the bike that gets the sound of the exhaust pretty nicely, I'll be posting it soon.

  • like the side mirrors

  • whats the crank degree on that engine?

  • 360 on the Bonneviles and Thruxtons 270 on the Scramblers and America.

  • do any of you guys have a vid or sound clip of the thruxton with the stock cans on?

  • Imagine a sewing machine....but with a slight, quiet note. But they restrict the power and sound of the Thrxton in a major way compared to the more open mufflers.

  • I agree, the video is good, but doesn't do the Predators justice. They are the best sound of ANY aftermarket silencer for the NTB/Thruxton. PERIOD!!

  • Bring the noise!
