  • in Canada we use guns for hunting, i would hate to live my life constantly worried about people breaking in

  • @nodGnarB What makes you think anyone is constantly worrying about someone breaking in?

  • Why hide it in the first place? I would just sit in that chair waiting to blast away at anything that came in the door! Paranoid?! Noooooooo.....

The only time I'm not looking at the world down the sights of my .45 is when I'm opening a cold one or changing the channel to Fox. Dur-Dur-Dur!

  • do you present the table , or your GUNS ?

  • Something tells me this isn't the first time this dudes chose 2 play cops & robbers over lettin the pussy in...

No but seriously, sweet Lil table. Not much on the piece tho, think i'd throw a S&W 329PD in there. That way you not only take out the vest wearing turd that's wanting to go all pulp fiction on your ass in the basement, you wake up the neighborhood 2.

  • KITTEH

  • I like this table. Going to check out your site. Is there one with larger table top space though? Something that could hold a desk lamp and large notebook PC would be best.

  • @SirGrayKnight The "standard" table is only one size, but the tables can be custom made larger without any problems and for not too much more cost. The website has all the info on the standard design, there are also a couple of models available in solid hardwood. Contact me via e-mail through the website for more info.

  • I went to the site didn't see the table... How much is it please, I'm a serious inquiry

  • very very nice work! the price is just to high for me to buy. if you ever run a special please let me know

  • @elbarto138 Thanks for the compliments on the table! Designing and fabricating the latch components and keeping them all hidden has proven to be pretty complicated, so that is a big factor in the price. I'm always looking for ways to simplify the process and lower costs however, since I know spending this much for a end table is hard. The table in this vid is solid hardwood, I do offer a veneered version though for less $... more info on that on my site (link is description).

  • Mike, How tall is your table in the video?

  • @stackedhippiechick I can't remember for sure, but I think this particular table was around 28". They can be built to any size though of course. ~Mike

  • poor kitti

  • Let your cat in!!

  • Comment removed

  • Couldn't you make the face of the drawer larger so the table looked normal?

  • ...cool.

  • dude, let your cat in!!!

  • ADMIT IT, YOU FUCKING LOVE CLICKING THAT BUTTON AND WATCHING THE GUN SLIDE DOWN!! :P

  • @RSW0K Sometimes, when I'm by myself and no one is watching, I do it over and over again - CustomChess

  • there's the heaven cat!!! at 0:52 !! OMG!! like this if you saw it too.....

  • cool

  • @Nick1yo Well first off, I don't think many criminals spend time browsing youtube watching videos about end tables. Second, if you break into my house and I'm not home, the compartment will be empty because I'm a cpl holder and the gun will be with me. If I happen to be home when you break in... well, good luck making it to the table before I do.

  • a little kid would DEFINITELY notice the button on the underside of the table.

  • @Invisiblefiyah Well then this is probably not a good choice for you in if you have a little kid and you plan to leave him/her unattended in the room with the table. There's no one solution for storing a defensive firearm that will allow for very fast access, complete security from unauthorized users, complete security from burglars, and complete disguise. It's up to the user to find the best system for him/her and for parents to decide whether or not a system will work with a child around

  • omg the cat seen... hes prob gonna go tell his friends

  • how to make it go down

  • @cod4hero55 It has a hidden latch that you push to open the compartment.

  • lol ive never seen sutch a thing bu its real lol

  • Easier said then done when you live were i did at that time,it is natural reaction even the cops,Doctors and Law Enforcement said

  • oh yea custom chest,I know all about not having your gun when you need it,people were fighting out side my apt. and one got thrown up against my wife's new car and i told them not on the car and one of them turned looked at me NOT SAYING A WORD and pulled the Trigger hitting me in the Chest in the left nipple road the rib cage around exited under the armpit and re entered in the arm and my gun was to far away so yeah if i would have had that chess i could have returned fire

  • @THETRUECRASHMONKEY Wow, that's some scary stuff man! People are crazy these days... just don't even care about hurting other people for no reason. Would be able to do a table in black no problem, just let me know. Hit me up on my personal channel to: mmseven77 @ youtube

  • @CustomChess ,Sweet Thanks Bro will do when i can

  • @THETRUECRASHMONKEY that is why you either call the cops NEVER approach two strangers arguing without being armed... obviously not visible...

  • I know my brother and I agree 1000% put it this way as soon as i can get the funds i will be ordering one from you in Black if you got it if not then plain and ill turn it black with Black Walnut and the Release will be in the back.

as soon as i can I have an Idea for you for Derringers lol Moo Ha Ha,I think you will like it and it will be my gift to you.

  • the funny thing is mike you stated at the end of the video that the table is NOT a safe and you should NOT put any thing in it Valuable because if some one knows were the release is they could take your stuff WELL bad news Mike if they know that then that means they can get your GUN AS WELL and SHOOT YOU WITH IT, just a thought.

  • @THETRUECRASHMONKEY Didn't say not to put guns in it, just to use caution. If you need to have a gun handy to defend you family at a moments notice, then necessarily it will be handy to anyone else. However, keeping a weapon in a combination safe is not the best option when seconds count. I would assume you would use common sense and not tell everyone you know about the hidden compartment. Do that, and this table will serve to keep a weapon handy at a moments notice, but hidden to most.

  • Nice design bro. I like it.

  • That cat is one of the family pets! You actually can order a similar on of these at my website (link in description) and in a few weeks I will have a less fancy, less expensive version available as well.

  • @CustomChess order a cat?

  • @drweird656 For sure...we got Maine Coon's, Manx, domestic shorthair, whatever you need!!! Your choice of stain color as well, haha

  • @CustomChess lol...cool table dude

  • @drweird656 Thanks man. Actually I just finished a new version that is coming in at a lower price. Info will be posted on the website tomorrow and new vids will go up on here.

  • is the cat outside one of your pet? or one of your friends's cat visiting? but seriously, i like to have one of that furniture.

  • As a furniture maker myself, I can say that looks like good craftsmanship. It's a neat idea too. Hope you do well with it.

  • @TrippyDoodle Thanks man, I appreciate the compliment and good wishes!

  • Well that's dangerous.. has a button at about the same level as a 3 year olds eye height, how long before a kid thinks "I wonder what this does" and hey presto, instant accident. This is a stupid idea... especially if you have small children.

  • @edwealleans That makes sense... that's like saying a circular saw is a stupid invention because a 3 yr old might cut their hand off with it. Like endless other things, this table is not meant to be child proof and it would be stupid to put a loaded gun in it with a child around. However, not everyone has 3 yr old children and like everything else, it's the parents responsibility to keep dangerous items away from their children. You don't blame the object for being dangerous, that's just silly.

  • Hey sli2305, why don't you go make the table yourself then you idiot, the guy deserves to get paid for his time just like anyone else, and I've seen other custom gun tables like this for a lot more. You need to get out some, just bought a plain ole end table at wallys on clearance for 40 bucks!!!!!! regular price 90, nothing special, nothing fancy, particle board and shit, 90 bucks!

  • @Yooper83 Actually i just bought the parts today and am making it which sucks for him since he was trying to sell them but with those prices I will spend the time to do it myself. Also just because you like to get ripped off does not mean everyone does. After i make mine i guess for the next one i will have to wait for China's version as they are smart enough to build stuff like this and still keep cost down unlike a lot of Americans that think there time is worth more than what it is.

  • looks like a 50 dollar table with an extra piece so maybe 75 to 100 dollars but why 375 that is way to expensive for something as simple as this

  • @sli2305 Tell you what, this has 8 bf of oak, 5 custom made metal latch parts, 2 springs, drawer slide hardware, drawer knob, and 16 dowel screws. Go price all that, engineer the table, hand build a few, then get back to me.

  • @CustomChess I will go ahead and do that and im not knocking your table it is a great idea but You will never be able to justify 350 dollars for that table plus another 40 in shipping. When there are other custom tables that i looked at for the same price but with a lot more going on. Also for the parts you named thats about 100 dollars worth plus shipping be 150.00 but why do you need another 200.00 for profit. Your working from home no warehouse rent. You can not tell me that you dont have

  • @CustomChess to go cheaper that would be a lie. Im just saying if you were not trying to make so much off of it more people could afford it in this time of economy and you might to make more tables with less profit per table but in the end you would have more profit sorry if i offended you just my opinion it is a nice table though.

  • 16 burglars liked this video

  • wow good work its a very clever table

  • @peterjg001 Thanks man! Just lowered the price on these too... ;)

  • Crap! Im canadian!!!!! No guns aloud!!!!

  • LoL, Next time I come over, I'm goign to take your gun out and play with it! HAHAHAH

  • Hey man im gonna favorite this video and if i find somethin i like i'll be hittin you up in a few years. Im about to go to school in cali and got about a year and a half left on probation but after i finish school and get a career job i can smoke a lil weed *in cali* and not get in a shit ton of trouble like here in missouri...i wont be a huge pothead but hell i should be able to responsibly and peacefully enjoy a gift of mother earth right?

  • Did you ever have to actually use it before to defend yourself?

  • @zebralover5555 Actually, I don't even have one yet. Only started making these about 8 months ago and they have been selling too fast so I haven't had a chance to make one for myself (and a couple other family members that want one)! I keep bumping myself to the bottom of my waiting list.

  • Thanks for clearing that up

  • a pistol, and a revolver is a handgun

  • That neighbor's cat spying through the glass door is totally gonna rip you off, dude.

  • lol there a cat

  • @1silverboy let the kitty in lol

  • @heyitsthatoneguy91 I was thinking the same thing!

  • hahaha. "It is pretty heavy. You could throw it at someone. "

  • @malakisi Ah, you know... you gotta keep your options open...

  • I do make these myself and I'm trying to sell them online. I think a lot of people could use something like this since there is not a lot of items out there like this. Just need to spread the word! You can check out my website by following the link in the side-bar description.

  • @CustomChess yea go wwf on their ass and beat them down with the dam table lol

  • 10/10....love this idea....if you make these yourself, you could make a lot of money selling these online!!

  • great idea!!!!

  • you can put money in there :|

  • No doubt... all types of stuff can be hidden there. Future models will have more of a drawer type setup so smaller items won't fall out if stored in there.

  • Cool, That's a very good product. I don't agree with people simply keeping their home defense gun on the nightstand. I think you should have to do a little thinking and moving before getting the gun in hand to be more "awake"........Pretty pricey though, I built one for under $50

  • i can think of somthing else to fit in there :)

  • slick, but not very child-safe.

  • Yup. He mentions that at his Web site.

And I think I'd prefer the latch away from the drawer face for that reason, too.

  • lol the cat cool compartment 5/5

  • That's cool! not the gun... i shot my dad....

  • lol
