Michael is the only artist I know who can make tons of fans Cry or Faint or just go Crazy watching his performance. Such a great entertainer.

P.S.

He was covering his microphone because of all the fans screaming that could muffle or interfere with his singing to the mic. A lot of singers do that actually covering their mic in live concerts.
