  • Dande~~~xD Cool)

  • Thank you. Please post some more videos. My mbira is also in G tuning and your videos are very helpful.

  • The lyrics that are sung with this version of the song I learned use the word mudande. There are often songs with slightly different names [Buka Teinde or Muka Tiende] or different songs sharing the same name[Shumba Huru, Shumba Yatabwete, Shumba Ngosha] and of course many versions of each song depending on whom you learn it from.

  • I will review my notes on a tune called Mudande. Don't know if it's the same song but I'll revisit it and share it with you. Very clear demonstration of the music. Thank you for posting.

  • Yes true, we will see Mbira go another level. more variations will come from many people playing Mbira, and we will see the renaissance in African music!!! Ahhh, just what the doc ordered! Hey Dande is the name of a place, where Mbira was very vibrant and competitive. Enjoy!!! Shamwari...

  • hi; thanks for contributing. Keep it up. Its nice to see other folks variations within a song
