  • I say , Bull Chitt stay off your roof and call a certified roof cleaner.. there is only on way to clean a roof. Non pressure just as the manufactor recommends

  • By spray and forget then try and forget that you threw your MONEY away

  • @MrThekid81 Spray & Forget backs up our product claims with a money back guarantee if expectations on not met. We guarantee our products and claims!

  • what's killing all the algae and moss, your data sheets says ethanol and proprietary algaecide? if its an algaecide this is supposed to be registered with the EPA under the pesticide act and you cannot label it proprietary.

  • @meimeisi Spray & Forget is basically a proprietary blend of surfactants that remove the stains caused by mold, mildew, algae, lichen and moss without the use of phosphates or heavy metals (bad for the environment) or highly caustic and/or acidic ingredients such as bleach, lye, acid.

  • Good for black algae but unless you like massive amounts of orange and yellow dead moss on your roof and waiting 2 to 3 months for results...hire a pro that uses LOW pressure HIGH volume pressure washers. Then treat for moss root and spores...end of story.

  • Have you used Spray & Forget because what you describe is incorrect. Also, what is your definition of low pressure and are you using any chemicals to treat the moss before you rinse? If so, do they have bleach, lye or acid in them? Are they caustic or acidic or corrosive? Spray & Forget does not require any damaging rinsing and does not use harsh chemical ingredients. In fact, it has a near neutral PH.

  • @sprayandforget Way to pump up your product...no we don't use chem. before...we use 1800 psi at 8GPM...only on roofs that are good for it. Realistically black algae rinses off VERY easy without the use of oxiclean....or "spray and forget" Im not knocking your product just giving my 2 cents on the video...I mean if the roof is clean and the shingles are in good shape then its done right? P.s. I have done around 750 full roof cleanings so you don't think Im some wack job.

    Be safe up there.

    Cheers

  • @DirTyOhGee 1800 PSI can be a lot and is not always good for composite shingles. It's not as bad on newer roofs but still not as good as no pressure. Many contractors use S&F to provide a service using no pressure and one that is eco-friendly, non-corrosive and non-caustic which means that it's safe on all siding, shingles, flashing, gutters, windows and other exterior surfaces. It's also an excellent preventive. Sounds like you know what you are doing! Stay safe and good luck!

  • @sprayandforget I agree on the not always good for some roofs...The next roof I bid on that has only black alge Im going to try a no pressure bid and see how it goes...I use a similar (but not the same) product as you with similar (but most likely not exactly the same) results. Something I also thought of is Im in Washington state where the moss is THICK! lol...I was wondering where you all are at and if you have moss like we do or just the black stain of doom? Cheers

    DirTy

  • @DirTyOhGee Our headquarters is located in Richmond, Texas (suburb of Houston). However, we developed and tested the product so that it would work to remove all stains caused by algae, mold, moss and lichen. In fact, our product is used extensively in the Pacific Northwest and New England areas for stains caused by moss. It will remove stains caused by moss even quicker then the black streaked stains caused by algae. Good luck!

  • @sprayandforget One of the harshest naturally occurring chemicals known to man is stomach acid. Please enough with the hard chemicals.

  • you are kidding that roof is still dirty

spray and try and forget you threw your money away,,, this stuff is a rip off,,

Hire a pro Certified Roof Cleaner

  • We would not be in business for long if the product did not work, especially when we offer a 100% money back guarantee. Our product is also offered in over 5000 hardware stores such as True Value, Ace Hardware and more. I do not think they would carry a product that had customers responding negatively.

  • Who the hell wants to wait 2 months for results?

  • Someone who does not want to use harsh, hazardous chemicals or high pressure rinsing that can damage and/or stain many surfaces while only providing a temporary solution.

  • i like this system,

we have a flat roof diy system. Perhaps we could work together
