(15.1 million/9.8%) = 154 million are able to work in the workforce. 11,941,812 (or 11.9 million) skilled jobs provided to illegal immigrants. The DREAM Act misses the entire point of being an ILLEGAL ALIEN. Illegal does not mean "if you can avoid being deported for five or more years", it means YOU'RE NOT ENTITLED TO BE HERE IN THE FIRST PLACE. I would like to introduce my own DREAM ACT. I DREAM politicians will begin to stand up for legal, tax-paying, middle class citizens who follow the laws. Deport law breakers and their anchor babies. Stop subsidizing criminal behaviour.

@rseincorp first of all do some research, "illegal immigrants" actually pay taxes, that includes income, sales, home etc. and they don't get damn dime back. You know where that money goes? It goes straight to your social security, Medicare, Medicaid, schools, government, your job, resources etc. and it looks to me like you're taking life extremely too serious. you don't own anything in this country, don't pay your taxes and the gov takes away everything from you and puts u in prison.so calm down

Being a resident and being a citizen are not the same thing. Illegal aliens are not citizens. We get to decide if they can stay, who can and who can't. There is no "fairness" argument to be made, it's OUR country and we can decide purely on our own best interest or popular support. The American people are tired of illegal aliens breaking our immigration laws. Children in violation of those laws cost us over $10k/yr each, and become adults in violation. Deport illegal aliens now.

Thats the political excuse. over 100 countries are of 3rd world positions owned by monopoly businesses. These countries are in debt either by the world bank (which America has the right to Veto) or by American obligations with other allies of 1st world nations. So countries are in debt which forces them to sell cheap resources and also forces indigenous people of that country to lose financial stability as privately 1st world owned corporations reduce income and rise poverty and social levels.

Will there be a "cap" on students accepted in this program? If there are 65,000 high school students graduating annually who are undocumented, why not limit the program to 65,000 annually? It is imperative that a "cap" and a "sunset" provision be written into the law, otherwise it ain't ever going to pass. Be reasonable, or get nothing.
