Makes perfect sense. Satan is still the power on this earth at that time. God's wrath (notice the Genitive WHO is sending it) will not affect His new disciples. Of course Satan will try to kill God's children and will in some cases succeed. Now if God has allready accepted his children and raises them from the dead. He has done it before. This was an excellent series, which I own and have shown to many persons. It explains the gospel like 20 excellent ways. It does goof by by finding the rapture in Matt 24 (not there), and it does pursue the dubious thesis that a person in the Tribulation could not trust Christ as Savior if he understood and rejected it in the Church age.

In the title of the book "1994?" there was a question mark. This time around there is no question mark. Also, the year 2011 was mentioned in the book. Additionally, we know that God was not opening up the understanding of the Scriptures in the Bible concerning the Abomination of Desolation and the timing surrounding it including the timing of the end until 1994 according to the timeline information Family Radio has taught. So, in hindsight, it should not be surprising that 1994 was not the end.

When the sun and moon are darkened, we are told to look up because he's coming, and many believe that his coming will be exactly 3 1/2 years from the abomination of desolation, but we must be careful about misinterpreting Bible prophecy, because many have done so, thinking themselves wise but looking like fools. The signs may not look the way we expected!

Now, I'm less angry at the film makers, and more sad about it. I'm 34, still a little bitter, but getting over it. I have these videos on vhs, as well and I do like them. It gives a very interesting point of view on what might happen during the tribulation period. Even though I think the tribulation period is going to be something that our earthly bodies can't comprehend.

This series is all based on a poor interpretation of the Bible, a theological system called dispensationalism which was formulated in the mid 1800s by one John Darby. It is the basis of many cults, and has crippled many believers and made many committed non-believers. I wish it would die a quick death! This doesn't mean Jesus may return any moment now, it does mean that when he comes, we won't know the exact time of day. However, we are told what to look for, then told to watch when we see the signs. "And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh." (Luke 21:28)

If you're trying to match current events with Revelation imagery, you would do well to study world history a bit harder. Dispensationalism is a terrific way to spiritualize your hysteria and avoid committing to the true work of the church.
