This was an interesting stage in Amii's career as far as her music was concerned. The interview at the beginning is Classic!

I think it boiled down to just bad production and song arrangement. Her voice is excellent, but many of her songs just were not that good. For example, I never heard this song before and it isn't bad. She sings it very well on top of it. If Amii had better songs to work with I am sure her career would have taken a different turn. As it stands, Knock On Wood was the one song that got it all right and it was one of the few cover songs that blew the original away.
