I've been asked by a friend to let my hair grow out so he can see my white fro. I'm not going to see him till august so it's going to be ridiculous. Personally I've found that if you want to comb your hair, do it in the shower while your hair is wet and has moisturizers and such. it will be smooth as butter.

Dreads are cool at the beginning but longer than a few months is just too much for me. My thick hair gets heavier and pulls on my neck. LOL

And yeah, I used to be able to comb my hair in the shower (it was the only time I ever would) but when I couldn't anymore, that's when I knew I was in trouble. Hopefully I've learned my lesson.

OMG Mindy, you should feel it. It's as soft and smooth as it is shiny. I'm happy with it. I can't make a full decision about my hair until 14 days after the cut because that's when my hair relaxes and is out of the initial shock of being cut. Strange maybe. True yes. But it is always a good sign that I like it right away.

Thanks for noticing my bracelets. I love 'em!! They're fun to wear.

Raven - yeah the woman who cut my hair before insisted I never comb or brush it, to keep the curl. Not even in the shower, when wet. I told her my hair locks if I don't and she seemed to think it wouldn't after she cut it. Perhaps that would've been true had I gotten a cut every few months. But...obviously, I didn't.

Awe Twish! I really liked my hair before too but yes, the knots were just too much for me to keep up with. I'm so glad he didn't have to cut much off. It'll look just as long and wild soon enough. :)
