Fish Tank with Firefish, Royal Gramma, and Scooter Blenny

i doubt the red scooter blenny is still alive. they are part of the dragonet family and feed on the same foods that mandarins do. unless you trained yours to eat other foods, it most likely is dead.

@28GallonBowfront @vdre3 Unfortunately the blenny did not last very long at all. My local fish store recommended him to me and said he would do very well in my tank. Unfortunately they lied and he died withing a few weeks due to starvation. I would not recommend a fish like that in a tank as small as mine. The firefish and royal gramma are still alive and kicking. I now have a mated pair of clownfish in the tank to keep them company. Everyone is doing well and nobody bothers one another.

@STRMWTCH I sucessfully kept 2 scooter blennies and an ORA spotted mandarin in a biocube 29. if you ever try a scooter blenny again, buy some nutramar ova. Ive even got wild mandarins to eat this.

what do you feed your scooter? i plan to get one but not sure if it will survive in my young tank

i heard that you really shouldnt put a firefish in with a royal gramma, but these two look like best buds!

i just got a Royal Gramma yesterday but i already have a Purple Fire Fish so i hope they do get on, it was a rescued Gramma so i hope it doesnt end up taking advantage lol
