  • Dear lord. It's not like he was trying to make it sound like Will Oldham. I don't even like Will Oldham. The original melody would have turned me off an otherwise good song. Glen made that song, those feelings, accessible to different people by using HIS style.

That's what a cover is. His performance is as soulful as a thousand Bonnie Billys. Glen can take a good idea and turn it into an amazing show. If you don't prefer this style, don't listen to covers. Otherwise shut up and enjoy.

  • 3 QUESTIONS 911 TRUTHERS DON'T WANT YOU TO ASK THEM:

Since Larry Silverstein said pull it, demolished WTC 7 and collected billions in insurance, why would the insurance company pay the claim if there's evidence of fraud?

If WTC 1 & 2 were destroyed by demolition & not fire, how do you explain video of the exterior columns buckling under heat and stress loads 18 min after impact?

How can Marvin Bush be in charge of WTC security when he stopped working for Securecom in June of 2000?

  • @ctcole77 I don't know why you're spamming a music page, asshole. But those are 9/11 CONSPIRACY theories. Theories have nothing to do with the physics. I don't CARE who did it or why. Saying, "The insurance company found no evidence of fraud" does NOT mean that building collapsed symmetrically due to uneven structural damage. That's BAD PHYSICS.

As a matter of fact, I believe "pull it" meant EVACUATE. But the collapse COULDN'T have been from fire damage.

Stop spamming you stupid shill cunt.

  • @Vitance

I suppose thousands of tons of concrete and steel falling hundreds of feet on WTC 7 had NOTHING to do with the collapse?

How about the 30 foot hole in WTC 7's facade?

How about the southwest corner of WTC 7 chopped off?

Please explain firefighters predicting WTC 7's collapse HOURS ahead?

    911 TRUTH DEBUNKED!

  • My new favourite song!!!:)

  • im pretty sure he plays a Dsus9 not a dmaj. so it goes from [A] x02220 to [Dsus9] xx0230 for the intro/chorus and then [A] x02220 to [Asus9] x02200 to [Dsus9] xx0230!!

  • @jal3862 Yeah, you're absolutely right. I still play the standard D though because I think it sounds better. But to each their own :)

  • @jal3862 just a slight naming error there, it's a Dsus2 chord, not a sus9. there is technically no such thing as a sus9.

  • Anyone know what chords he's playing? It looks like variations of A and D but I can't figure out exactly what the variations are.

  • This is what I play, and I think it's pretty accurate (And I learned it from watching this video :)

    Capo on 2nd.

    Chords: 002220 (A), 000232 (D), 002200 (don't know that this one's called, but it seems like a variation of A)

The intro is A and D alternating. The pull off he does is 2nd fret 2nd string.

Verses are A, A variation, D. Chorus is the same, but at the end he does the pull off again.

The "I've got a new partner" part is just A & D alternating again.

    Hope this helps :)

  • Beautiful, thanks for sharing this :) Ike

  • Pretty cool, maybe not as nice as Oldham's own performance. First climax is nice, second a bit too much.

  • Oh, the rest of this remarkable concert in Czech TV goes straight to my favs. THX for addition and for good quality of the vid.
