I invest monthly in oil as a hedge in inflation as Gold will be dropping in price in 2013. But, I owed over a dozen pieces of land used as retirement hedge, so what I did to save us is sold a little over cost, No Qual, No Down @ 7% for 10 years on a land contract, so I get a bunch of checks each month. Brook, I have medical, dental, eye, no fed tax purchase on bases, free water and power for life at state parks, because I went off to War got into shit over and over, got nailed and ended up in high clover 30 years later... I can live basically free if I use a trailer but I prefer a house...But they even cut tax my RE taxes. We eat mainly organic food but I took my wife to a US base and found products 1/3 the cost of civilian stores for butter and other producet and no tax

@brookencondomz I do feel bad for the homeless but few are sleeping ouside in souther California. I like to trailer camp so I use the libraries and such where homeless hang and see no more than 3-4 four any day. I took in 2 homeles. One I tossed. he less with some of my stuff, after I helped him make a lot of money. The other is growing rich and has a job now. He will leave me independently wealthy and under 25 years old. He listens! And he is smart. Nice kid!

@gilgol30 Iran doesn't need nuclear weapon to devastate the oil industry in the middle east. Just now Iran has enough military capacity to do that and will certainly do it if seriously threatened. Imagine if Iran only annihilates the oil installations of Saudi Arabia it would be a deadly crisis for the whole world and it is just as simple as drinking a glass of water for the Iran's army.
