That may be so but at least Iraq is pretty stable and secure or at least enough so that Obama can in fact pull our troops out without the risk of Iraq being completely controlled by AQI like it was pre-surge... a surge that Obama was against. Though expensive, too expensive especially in blood let alone dollars, at least our goals were largely accomplished in Iraq but the same will not be said in the future of this "stimulus". Too few jobs created or "saved" too much special interest spending.

No economy should be able to survive our spending but it is manipulated and/or otherwise artificially held together somehow to keep it going anyways. A Chinese banking minister flat out said he hates us for this because it'll lower the value of the dollar thus hurting all the T-Bills they own of our debt but they own so many that to sell them off would hurt them as much if not more than it would hurt us. Our economy is a house of cards that is superglued together to keep it from toppling.
