  • good stuff alec and dad!

  • I like it, but a bit of constructive critisizm is to just let the machine do the talking instead of explaining every step before hand.

  • hey, its me agian,I just posted a Rube goldberg contraption. The goal is to open a door. Check it out a nd leave a comment.

  • lol thas pretty cool, could have picked some better music to turn on tho.. lol nice work though :D

  • I agree. The theory was that the song "Celebrate" came on right at the top of the chorus, which is much higher energy that the beginning. We didn't discover until actually setting off the contraption that when you turn the CD player off, then on again, it starts the songs back at the beginning. Kinda anti-climatic, huh? Glad you enjoyed it otherwise.

  • that was awsome! How long did it take? I make lots of these things but this is way better than mine.

  • Hours! Then a few tear-downs because we had company staying in our guest house (aka "The Goldberg Room"), and a few more hours of setting up again!

  • That is so kewl more videos!

Who comes up with the ideas?

  • It's kind of a joint effort. The next one will be a contraption to deliver dog food to a bowl & feed our pooch! Stay tuned.

  • good work, gentlemen 'n ladies...good job. Rude-Goldbergs never get old. :-)
