it is not humane to kill an animal widout stunning it first. hamstaFX

we will be killing our own pigs maybe this year or at the begining of next year. with bolt gun. still if you don't have it it is the same procedure to stab the animal widouth stunning it first..you just have to be calm to the animal so it doesn't get excited (if it does,the blood doesn't run out properly and the meat is not as good as it should be). if you can you can tie it. if just stab it, it will fall down or run away. if you can film more of you at work doing other parts of the process such as hooking them up, and Gutting, scalding hair removal, and then splitting them, that would also be great to learn from, but really want to see live pigs done on your farm by you, without the use of a Bolt gun or electric shock, just cutting throats as thats how i will have to do mine when the time comes.

Can you tell us when you will be slaughtering your own Pigs and sheep on your farm, and posting it on here, i want to learn how to do Pigs on my farm, so an instrutional type video step by step from putting them in the pen to cutting roats from them would be great with you doing the entire thing, and talking us through it as you go. Also i do not have a Bolt gun, so could you do your Pigs just by Cuttting there throats?

@herkulesbygrundens the stunning does the machine. they sleep because of CO2 gas in the lower-lift chamber. yes i have done shackling and gutting..etc..... too :)

we use CO2 gas for sleeping them and they were asleep when i stabbed them.

i work here for 2 years and i am 21 years old :D and i love it.

the winter is coming and i will also do live pigs for privat and at home on a farm and maybe i will film that too.

@badgalslover the pigs are asleep. if they don't sleep tight, they buckle but i still kill them. if they jump too much, we use the electric shock. if they were dead, the blood wouldn't run out so much.
