Hi Martina, what size ink brush are u using please? and what r liquid acrylics? I,ve never heard of them before ,can someone enlighten me please? huge fan Martina love your work.
I love your work Martina ! I checked out your website and was blown away, you have a lot in there. Your art is colorful, sexy but not dirty, and very original. 5 star rating and then some. Keep it up.
I will put up another video when I get the chance to make one - it's not easy for me to paint and film myself at the same time so I don't do it too often :)
AMAZING! Absolutely loving it! It blows my mind how easy you make it look and your hand really seems to just glide over the canvas. Just LOVE the colors as well and the ink brush seems to work wonders. I didn't know you can use ink brushes with acrylic...Truly inspiring :)
Thank you, I'm happy you like it. It is easy and difficult at the same time - I just surrender to the "muse" and let her move my hand when I paint - that's why it is effortless. But to get to the point of being able to 'let go' is difficult. You can use ink brush with liquid acrylics, but I'm also using an acrylic brush in this video for the acrylic paint.
I have a weird question. Is painting the only job you do, or is this a side job? I would love to be an artist when I get older, but I'm not exactly sure what I should do career wise when it comes to art. Any tips?
I am a full-time artist. I believe you need to focus on art full time in order to be any good at it - you have to live it, really. If you like art you can go to an art school but there are no quarantees - in fact, most fine artists don't make any money and live from government grants, teaching, etc. You can become a commercial artist and do illustrations for advertising or work on the design of products and make a living that way. The more education you have the more options you gain.
Thanks, it's difficult for me to create a video like that because I film it by myself, holding the camera in one hand while painting with my other hand...there is just never anybody around to film me when the "muse" hits :)

Hello. I like the dark lines and fire colors. I also really like the size of this painting. I paint from imagination as well. Lovely painting.
