  • Josephairis, Thank you for the complement. You know since I've been over in the Philippines I believe I have learned how precious life is. Especially here where young death seems like the norm instead of the unusual long life.

  • your are welcome. i too feel the same. im actually from san francsico california and have been living in cebu, philippines for almost 10 years now. i know what you mean.

  • I lived in Silicon Valley, Los Gatos for 35 years. Very familiar with the Beautiful City of San Francisco.

  • wow. what a coincidence. we are both from the bay area. but what brings me to you tube is my guitar playing. please check out my solo guitar on "Anak". this is how i stumbled to your channel. i just wish i knew how to create videos such as yours. you have great talent in video making. very professional. you must be.

  • pls watch my video "Anak (Rock version)"

  • nice family po

  • Yes it is family. My wifes younger brother died just before we moved to Roxas. He was a great and fun person. Part of our reason to move here was being with him and then he left us. One of life's journeys with a bump in the road.

  • You made a very good video.

  • thank you very much

  • enjoyed all your videos Jerry. This one is no different. Thank you

  • Jerry you have made so many great videos but this one will always be special to me. The smiling faces of the children. The painful reminder at the end that reminds of how fragile this all is. Kudos for a job well done.

  • Greg, Thank you for the comment. As you know life for the children over here is so difficult and sad. You can't help but love them for their ability of being happy with what they have and most 98% have nothing.

  • nice vid!

  • OH Such sweet dreams also of Pain and sorrow, and yet the famous Filipino smile says it all.

  • Sometimes that's all they have is their smile. Thank you for your comment.
