In fact restrictions for Polish army presence in Ukraine was one of main reasons why Kiev couldn't be held for longer than one month (then recaptured by Soviets).

2. NKVD in katyn was 99% ukrains.
3. Soviet & NKVD managment in that time was like: 1 russian, 1 ukrain, 2 georgian, 2 POLS, 8 latvians, 32 jew.

Poles did not kill POW with shut on the back of their heads. (22 000 of them ) WHICH PART YOU DON"T UNDERSTAND ? Besides do you understand that Red Army attacked Poland in 1920 not he other way around and we still treated Soviet POW according to law. Nobody, besides Soviet propaganda, questioned treatment of Soviet POW in polish camps. On the contrary many commissions proved Soviet guilty of killing 22 000 Polish prisoners of war. Why can't you see difference ?

Death rate of Polish POWs in Russian camps was higher, out of 51 thousand POW only 26 thousand survived. Often Polish officers and POWs were executed after capture. E.g. mass executions in Bystryki (700 soldiers), Zadworze, Chorzela etc, 600 Polish POWs and personel burned alive in Berdyczow hospital. The rest of fatalities were due to hardship in labor camps.
Exchange of prisoners (1921): 65 thousands soviet POWs for 26 thousand Polish POWs. About 1000 Red Army soldiers settled in Poland.
