"Small SUV" The Range Rover Sport is one of the biggest 4x4s in Britain. The only reason they think it's "smaller" is because the Americans seem to have to buy large cars like the QX56 or Escalade to match their large body mass.

@Reznickzilla I doubt it, we could import American cars and they'd be fine on our roads - but they're not needed! When I say Americans, I mean the US. And lets be honest, say 35% of American's are obese, that's around the 100 million mark. Never played World or Warcraft, never will. I have a life.

@lizardmannnn LR4? Thats the Disco4 right? Disco is Land Rover based - aimed for comfort, 4x4 travel and space while being affordable and durable. Range Rover is all of that plus a luxury quotient that emphasises a quality build with that high-end comfort. The luxury component also translates into some fantastic technology inclusions and options. Range Rover is also a spectacular "SUV" compared against "rivals" Q7, X6 etc etc.

@Default1235678 i disagree. most americans are educated or well aware diesels are fuel efficient. its the government and coorporate companies (ie petroleum co.) that dont want the us to be hoooked on diesel. u.s is the number one consumer of oil and oil companies want to keep it that way. I WANT DIESEL personally, but the only ones offered that are affordable is the jetta and large pick up trucks. not very appealing to the mass market

my mom had a Range Rover Sport Supercharged And with in the first 5000 miles it had been in the shop no less then 5 times! so we so they gave us a new one a Range Rover same problem! i love Range Rover and have owned one and will own another one when they fix the electronic issue

Persons more down to earth should look at the diesel version. Gets nice 28mpg on the road - has nice low end torque and the most important - you can get from A to B on the tank. The gasoline powered - they have a lot of useless power for towing something? Anything? + the diesel version is cheaper on all costs. Driving on bad roads people do have to remember the "sport" sign on it. It is by no means soft and comfy.

Jesse doesn't look that comfortable in it. Front exterior looks okay but definitely not aerodynamic as Jesse says and the interior looks lame and plastic despite its overdone commercials. I'd question the most unreliable SUV on the planet. Plus the sticker price is enough said.

I've never heard of a Land Rover being described as "fun to drive". Its kinda like saying the Hummer is sporty. Unless you have a job where you need to impress your clients, there's really no need for a vehicle like this. There are many other choices out there that are more fuel efficient and can do just about everything else this one does, if you don't mind giving up on some of the luxury features.

Sweet vehicle... thanks for pointing out some of the oversights like not having a power hatch button... I hate when reviewers will bash a Kia for omitting something like that then let it slide on a high end brand... Seems like Jag/Rover is about due for a revamp on the V8 the numbers seem pretty average for a 5 liter DOHC direct injected engine same goes for the MPG... not saying it is the weakest but again they are not selling this thing for 35 grand either.
