@drumerkid678 40"s are a different story on the early leaf sprung Fords. You have to run an extremely heavy off set wheel just to clear the springs and the early Superduty Ball bearings are crap. They fail extremely fast with wide tires or high offset wheels. Not recommended on the early Superduty unless you swap out to 2.5 Tons or a custom Dana 70 or 80.
@SecularTechnology Thanks man. I hate how everyone jacks the living crap up out of their truck to put 35s or 37s. I tried to get dealers and owners to buy into the concept but people don't favor safety and longevity of parts which is sad. It continues the same old. Dealers throwing on cheap lifts and charging top dollar. People paying top dollar for crap lifts or 6"s to fit 35s just because they can buy it off the dealership floor. Nothing beats low center of gravity.
@kaution9876 Those things are sweet. Too wide for a lot of places here, but ya same concept. Still not in America though. Most other countries build things a lot more realistic than here. lol We have some of the greatest innovation here in the US, but we also have some of the most wasteful crap.
GM just started offering full locking rear diffs a few years ago but only in half tons. The Dodge Power Wagon offers a locker but you can only get it with a Hemi. Ford as of the 2011 is the first manufacture to offer rear lockers across their full 3/4 and 1 ton line. Eaton makes the Dana 60 Electric locker but when the '08 first came out the were on backorder.
@jeffdirtwheller Tricky. 6-8 and fender trimming. If you use a coilover swap on the front with 4 link or radius arms you can get away with a 4" lift and rolling the front and rear fenders 12"s up.
@silverstroke100 The backspacing depends on the rim width. You can't run large backspacing deep dish wheels on the '08 and newer, or you'll get a bad death wobble and blow boxes up. Don't go any lower than 5.25. If you get a little bit of contact with the arm live with it as long as you run a 12.5 with an 8-10 wheel you shouldn't have a problem. As for the body the area that rolls under to the pinch weld will need to be 45'ed.
@silverstroke100 I have an 02 with a pro comp leveling kit and I have 35's they rub just a little lock to lock, you will probably need cut out fender flares for 37's, they should fit fine then as for wheels I have 17x10 weld wheels standard backspace that worked fine when i ran 39's while my truck was lifted 8 inches
It did. Someone turned it in for dirty tail pipe, and it started having exhaust problems due to early regeneration shutdown wiring programs. So we threw all the OE stuff. Screw it. They have plenty of power stock, and none of the delete stuff brings the 17-20 MPG promises. Especially with 40s. Some of the newer stuff is really good but damn the Cummins delete are way easier and get way better MPGs.
Spartan too is not automatic guaranty first ttry. It can take some tuning. But if the EPA thing holds up I'd use something that easy to pull for smog certification.
Bully Dog puts way to much strain on your drivetrain for numbers. Banks are the closest thing to an OE setup and if the whole diesel restrictions and CARB cert. restrictions for CA diesel's passes will probably be the only diesel aftermarket company to CARB certify their parts. SCT is the pinnacle for tune ability, both for the motor and trans.
Not much, it's just on daily commuter duty. Snapped a rear shaft and didn't notice until we unhooked the 35' Gooseneck until 4 hours later. Shaft melted the housing. Replaced the whole rear. Other than that a couple power steering boxes due to the 40's.
It has to do with Ford changing the track width in order have a tighter turning radius. In the process of doing so they moved the rolling mass out past the hub center. Dual stabilizers, which weren't necessary on the 05-07 are a must on the 08 and newer with 35" and larger tires.
so you took a decent truck, and bolted brackets up to your stock IFS suspension to drop down your already weak suspension components down 6". good call. Then you bought tires that on the label read "tires are not guaranteed round" which is kinda important in my book. Okay yeah you have an awesome truck you can talk shit......
Your an idiot. His Ranger cost half of what your Runner did new, and your going to bash him for a budget build? What an ass. Can your runner haul 5K Lbs of payload on powerline trails? NO! There's a reason that every PGE, Forestry, and National Fire Crew Pickups for deepcountry are Fords you idiot.
haha your Ford broke and you kinda sound proud....humm but you are smart enough to atleast use a high lift, so I will give you credit cause most ford owners are too stupid...... But really why I think your video is gay shit cause you said "F350 crawler" your truck is a ranch truck, not a crawler...I have 5.29's gears in the diffs, and yourhave 3...somethings probably. Poor fella, you dont even know what it takes to have a crawler. and I got 4 feet of air in that jump and then drove home 3hrs
lolololol...are you using babies feet come on man. The rear didn't even leave the ground. You measure to the bottom of the tire not to the front of the hood. Watch my MegaCab jump over 30' off a table top, that air and engineering. Man I've driven this truck over rock piles as big as your Runner, not them little pebbles and cracks you drove over in your video. That's like 4x 101 for dummies.
ok....look at the vid....it didn't break. He lifted a stock (or atleast stock axles) and stayed in the go pedal as it started to get to the top of the hill. Limited slip crap did its normal thing and he started to burn rubber on one of the rocks.
Did you see the massive 12" of air his runner got in his video? At least with this '08 I had the balls to jump a bike jump doing about 45. Landed so hard the shock snapped and the coil fell out. High lift and a shock later she was as good as new. It'd cost a lot more than that to fix that Runner trying that.
My poser shit has lockers........haha and no I am not retarded, I drive a mid travel toyota with over 204,000 miles on, I bet it wheels and RUNS better than your FORD. end of story.
OK so you just can't read. Mine helps earn a paycheck every week and also helps get loads on my ranch places you Toy couldn't go. My trucks are almost twice the length of you 4Runner and they'll whip it ass any day of the week. Oh sorry, you have a better turning radius. You are ignorant.
before you put the shiny wheels on and the gay lift that does nothing but increase aproach angles, you should have locked the diffs. wow and you own a shop or something?
Are F-ing retarded? It says in the description the E-locker was on back order fag. And as for the lift the Icon is the only true long arm kit out there for the SD. Oh, and before you talk start talking shit why don't you actually try hitting the go pedal if your going to jump your poser shit? My 4 year old gets more air on his 50, with the trailing wheels on. I hate ignorant people!
it always scares the $}{!T outta me when it starts slipping and wobbling like that when your turning 1:02.. i'm waiting for it to just snap or grind apart... you're pretty ballsy to do that with a brand new truck.. i hardly do it to our 00 7.3l
I was really surprised it did it at all. I have the same setup on my '05 and have never had a problem. Ford changed the offset of the wheels to improve the turning radius and didn't re-engineer everything. Now dual stabilizers are a must on '08s. Where as I've got 120K on the 05 and just changed the Ball Joints and the bearings were still fine. All with 40 inch tires, single OE stabilizer, 4" Long Arm Lift, and 400 to 500 RWHP.
Thanks. I can't wait to get the new 6.7 Scorpion next year. I'm trying to decide between a Standard Cab Longbed or Ex-Cab Shortbed with the same setup.
looks like you were having a hard time on that hill there? i bet my 79 would climb that shit no problem i could probably pull you behind me and still make it easy
Every buddy thinks that from sitting in their chair behind a computer desk. If your 79 is locked front and rear yes. If its running 37s and up yes. If its running Dana 44s you would have snapped something as many times as we drove it that weekend. The '05 that had the front locker walked up it over a dozen times. You can't tell from the VID either that there was no bottom, cause clay mixed with rock doesn't throw rooster tails off of mud terrains.
Ya it would have had trouble too. Trust me. The SD is locked the same, pushing more power, with more articulation, and more ground clearance. My buddy had his Toyota there with a 350 locked front and rear and had more trouble than the SD.
Look at the website. There are 4 different packages. I designed the Crawler package for people that need their trucks to go to some of the deepest parts of the country. My Crawler package on a standard cab or Ex cab longbed will kick the shit out of PowerWagon any day of the week. Also now that the H1 is gone I designed a TRUCK that was capable of keeping up with a Hummer, yet be more streetable, useful, roomier, and way way cheaper. I own several ranches and wheel my 2 where most can't
drive their jeeps, even though they are a crew cab longbed, and ex cab longbed. Like many that would have loved to buy a Hummer when they could have afforded one I have a big family and have to use my work for long and large loads. I simply am giving people another option. If you look my my other vids of my other rigs you'll clearly see I know what crawl means. If I had my choice and didn't need an 8' bed, I'd order an Ex cab short bed, and amaze the world.
Rolling the fenders. It can only be done affordably on the Fords. The rears have to be opened up too, they only fit 37x12.5 stock. I have two shops that do it for me and its OE quality.
Excellent. Just fix the problems the first time in. On my Excursion I wire ringed and studded the heads and deleted the EGR as soon as the heads blew at 55K. The '05 at 75K. I think I had to replace a ICM once but the dealer did it under warranty. Once I hit the 450 Plus RWHP mark though I had to cut and full fire ring the heads. Hypermax admits their wire rings will only hold to 500 HP at the crank. Way better than my '08s.
Ya Ford took something that they never had a problem with andd made it an issue. In order to say they had the tightest turning radius, they widened the mounting surface width of the axles, added some ratio to the gear box, and changed the back spacing on the wheels creating pressures that parts weren't engineered for. I can't believe some genius made that decision and didn't think that the box, stabilizer, and bearings didn't need to be re engineered. Dual steering stabilizers fixed it.
Positive differential????????? The only truck with a factory front locker is the Power Wagon. If your referring to factory posi/limited slip none of them work with tires larger than 35s.
70K Plus and still going. Spun the rear diff housing though pulling a gooseneck and case tractor up a hill. I think the damage was from wheeling it though. Spot welds gave. Easy fix though heated, turned back, and fully welded.
Obviously you don't understand Horsepower and Torque. Torque is what gives you traction. Torque is the amount of force generated to turn the wheels. Horsepower is the amount of power produced to spin the wheels. Wheel spin big horsepower like for sand. Traction torque with low horsepower like for pulling massive loads or crawling.
THANK YOU!!! don't Super Duties come with lockers? (The Lock and Unlock thingy on the front axle) or am i just being stupid right now? cuz those got our 06 up a pretty steep hill when we "locked" it.
haha yall have no clue about drivetrains or 4x4's in particular. You two are talking about the manual locking hubs that locks the wheels to the axle and puts it into 4wd....not lockers in the differential that lock the axle shafts together for more traction...buahahaha
Locking hubs and locking differentials are 2 different things. The locking hubs engage the hub to the axle which is then powered by the transfer case. It is used to get better fuel mileage because the axle doesn't spin all the time when in 2wd causing drag and lower MPGs. Locking diffs engage to give equal power to both axles and wheels not just the wheel that moves easier. Note only one wheel spinning on the front end. Thats why he said Elockers where on back order.
driftkidd94 was referring to the hubs. 84supradude meant the diffs. But no Ford has never offered a full locking diff in any of their light duty trucks, just limited slip which doesn't even work once you go to a 33 or larger tire. Only Chevy a couple years ago started selling their trucks with a factory rear locker. I'm not too sure if they are still doing it though cause I haven't seen it advertised in awhile. The Ford Raptor F150 is Fords first Locking Diff Truck as far as I know.
Cause Ford changed the Ratio in the gear box and changed the offset on the wheels (AGAIN) and widened the track to achieve a tighter turning radius. Now there is too much wieght out there and too much presure on the box with tires over 35s just like Chevys and Dodges with the wrong offset wheels. Dual stabalizers solved the wable but not the Box problem.
Suzuki and Kawasaki are working together, and share a few dirt/motocross bikes and quads like the old Z400 and the minis but that's about it. notice the LTR450 and KFX450 are two very different machines. not the same...
back to the vid... pretty cool truck. I like the big tire, low lift stance. more practical, and just makes more sense than bigger lifts, unless you run bottomless mud pits
you wouldnt have the wheel spin and you would have much more control on mud and crap like that. and let some air out of your tires. that would help to.
Hey Big Boy, Read the discription! Dana 60 Elockers were on back order at the time of video. And it wasn't like I was running the Con or Moab. Its mud not rocks, and I was just playin' around and it ended up being good video.
now to take things one step further, the dodge cummins inline six produces as much torque and as much horsepower with 40% few moving parts. this allowing it to be a very popular machine for chase, baja, and offroad use.
some companies that build highend off road truck include one up off road, spirson, carli, lorenz, thuren, kroeker offroad (kore), icon, and cambren. notice that not a single chevy part is available.
chevy uses an IFS front suspension which cannot handle large amounts of torque or strain. it was designed to be confortable on the road, not be a tough offroad vehicle without alot of modification
simply due to the fact the dodge and ford use a four-link axle assembly up front they can be easily modified for intense off road use.
Are you serious. Man all dealers and manufacturers have been walking hand and hand in shit. Thats why they have the problem they do now. How did this go from me giving you an honest complament to you being a retard. Man grow up it was just a discusion, but if you feel that defensive, maybe you feel stupid.
Sorry bro, don't be a hater just cause you bought a truck that can't even support a solid axle even if you wanted or could offord to swap one in without rebuilding half the frame.
Funny GM is the on going out of biz. Too bad cuz they do make good gassers. Duramax doesn't count cuz Isuzu designed it. The only prob with the Fords is International and the all Ford 4.4 and 6.7 diesels are coming soon. but the 4.6, 5.4 and 6.2 are on your heals and the Chevy could never build a truck as good as a Lightning or Raptor. Don't bother arguing the 454 SS cause the guys on Truck U proved the early Lightnings spank it.
idc what you say becuase none of te company's are going out of business and dont say ford is best at making everything becuase they arent gm has flaws and so does ford and dodge
dont say ford is perfect just becuase you are so anal about them and like them so much you would not say one thing is wrong with them
and gm makes the z71 which is way better and less expensive than the raptor
What exactly is the z71 package? An extra skid plate or something? The new Raptor is Factory, not some cheap aftermark Procomp or Readylift, with longtravel oversized control arms, 6.2 400hp, Locked Up, monster with 35" tires. The Z71 was a sweet package back when I was in highschool and none of the other companies had any other options, and before I new how many shortcut dealers and thier outsourced shops take to make a dime. Your best arguements are Denali, LS Series Motors, and Duramax.
Just the grill, but Chevy had that ugly ass front end when GM decided to save a dime and run the square Avalanche front end for a few years. I tried to give GM a complament with those three things too, oh I forgot ZR1. Ford is playing catchup on all of them and will never be successful in bettering the Denali or Cadilac persona with Lincoln or Mercury so there. Your stick to GM and I'll stick to Ford. Sweet the neverending arguement continues, unsolved.
Funny '09 F150 just got pickup of the year. They all have the plus' and minus', but we get the most winers and least diehards, cause a lot of people with no brand loalty buy Ford. I wish they'd buy something else to complain about, because nothings made like it used to be.
man if henry ford knew how ford now ran everything he would flip
becuase i know he was not about lying to the world and ripping people off and selling them shit
You call those arguements. The answer is that the majority of the Chevys sold go to pavement pounders. Majority of Fords sold go to work on construction sites, farms, ranches, and hauling. Minority of newer Chevys sold go offroad and minority of Ford TRUCKS sold are pavement pounders.
i dont know where you live but i live in ohio and chevy is the main work truck yea people use f150's to get around to contruction sites but i have never seen them do anything
ohio? man, yall think yall are a bunch of rednecks up in ohio. last time i was there, early 2008, i went muddin in my 08 250 PS, and guess waht, chevy doesnt have anything on ford
well sort of, the kfx400, most utilities, and kfx80s are zuki, but the 450's are different, for example, the kawi has an aluminum frame while the ltr's is steel.
oh sorry, If you get some in the front you would have made hat easier though. I love the truck! I just finished my lock right installation today on my rear axle to hopefully turn my 2wd more like a 4x4! Im gonna upgrade from a 2 inch lift in the rear to a 4 inch also ( I have a 3 inch lift in the

OK so you just can't read. Mine helps earn a paycheck every week and also helps get loads on my ranch places you Toy couldn't go. My trucks are almost twice the length of you 4Runner and they'll whip it ass any day of the week. Oh sorry, you have a better turning radius. You are ignorant.
houseofdiesel 2 years ago
before you put the shiny wheels on and the gay lift that does nothing but increase aproach angles, you should have locked the diffs. wow and you own a shop or something?
cpizzle42 2 years ago
Are F-ing retarded? It says in the description the E-locker was on back order fag. And as for the lift the Icon is the only true long arm kit out there for the SD. Oh, and before you talk start talking shit why don't you actually try hitting the go pedal if your going to jump your poser shit? My 4 year old gets more air on his 50, with the trailing wheels on. I hate ignorant people!

it always scares the $}{!T outta me when it starts slipping and wobbling like that when your turning 1:02.. i'm waiting for it to just snap or grind apart... you're pretty ballsy to do that with a brand new truck.. i hardly do it to our 00 7.3l
azkcr 2 years ago
I was really surprised it did it at all. I have the same setup on my '05 and have never had a problem. Ford changed the offset of the wheels to improve the turning radius and didn't re-engineer everything. Now dual stabilizers are a must on '08s. Where as I've got 120K on the 05 and just changed the Ball Joints and the bearings were still fine. All with 40 inch tires, single OE stabilizer, 4" Long Arm Lift, and 400 to 500 RWHP.

looks like you were having a hard time on that hill there? i bet my 79 would climb that shit no problem i could probably pull you behind me and still make it easy
460FordBronco79 2 years ago
Every buddy thinks that from sitting in their chair behind a computer desk. If your 79 is locked front and rear yes. If its running 37s and up yes. If its running Dana 44s you would have snapped something as many times as we drove it that weekend. The '05 that had the front locker walked up it over a dozen times. You can't tell from the VID either that there was no bottom, cause clay mixed with rock doesn't throw rooster tails off of mud terrains.
houseofdiesel 2 years ago
its locked up in the rear and i got 35s on it with a 4inch lift it does pretty good mainly because its short wheel based with a big ol 460 in it
460FordBronco79 2 years ago
Ya it would have had trouble too. Trust me. The SD is locked the same, pushing more power, with more articulation, and more ground clearance. My buddy had his Toyota there with a 350 locked front and rear and had more trouble than the SD.

Crawler? Do you even know what a rock crawler is. Your nowhere near it. Do a little research on your title next time.
slippery750 2 years ago
Look at the website. There are 4 different packages. I designed the Crawler package for people that need their trucks to go to some of the deepest parts of the country. My Crawler package on a standard cab or Ex cab longbed will kick the shit out of PowerWagon any day of the week. Also now that the H1 is gone I designed a TRUCK that was capable of keeping up with a Hummer, yet be more streetable, useful, roomier, and way way cheaper. I own several ranches and wheel my 2 where most can't
houseofdiesel 2 years ago
drive their jeeps, even though they are a crew cab longbed, and ex cab longbed. Like many that would have loved to buy a Hummer when they could have afforded one I have a big family and have to use my work for long and large loads. I simply am giving people another option. If you look my my other vids of my other rigs you'll clearly see I know what crawl means. If I had my choice and didn't need an 8' bed, I'd order an Ex cab short bed, and amaze the world.

marklax1 2 years ago

Way better than my '08s.
houseofdiesel 2 years ago
How has the problem plagued 6 liter engine faired for you so far?
triden55 2 years ago
the wheel was woppling a lot a 1:04
DURAMAXDIESEL12 2 years ago 2
Ya Ford took something that they never had a problem with andd made it an issue. In order to say they had the tightest turning radius, they widened the mounting surface width of the axles, added some ratio to the gear box, and changed the back spacing on the wheels creating pressures that parts weren't engineered for. I can't believe some genius made that decision and didn't think that the box, stabilizer, and bearings didn't need to be re engineered. Dual steering stabilizers fixed it.
houseofdiesel 2 years ago
ya dude when i say it it really fucked up 1996 there 2006 where the good fords i geusse

bad differential. get a truck with a positive differential like mine. but nice truck tho
BoxingSoccer15 2 years ago
Positive differential????????? The only truck with a factory front locker is the Power Wagon. If your referring to factory posi/limited slip none of them work with tires larger than 35s.
houseofdiesel 2 years ago
the rear diff is a positive. i bought it after my original was bad. sorry man didn't mean to offend u
BoxingSoccer15 2 years ago
that poor front diff....
triden55 2 years ago
70K Plus and still going. Spun the rear diff housing though pulling a gooseneck and case tractor up a hill. I think the damage was from wheeling it though. Spot welds gave. Easy fix though heated, turned back, and fully welded.

what happened to this vid??? I loved this clip
PHIXTup 2 years ago
diesels suck offroad too heavy and too much torque causing tires to break traction easier.
cumminsguy451 2 years ago
Obviously you don't understand Horsepower and Torque. Torque is what gives you traction. Torque is the amount of force generated to turn the wheels. Horsepower is the amount of power produced to spin the wheels. Wheel spin big horsepower like for sand. Traction torque with low horsepower like for pulling massive loads or crawling.

84supradude 2 years ago
THANK YOU!!! don't Super Duties come with lockers? (The Lock and Unlock thingy on the front axle) or am i just being stupid right now? cuz those got our 06 up a pretty steep hill when we "locked" it.
driftkidd94 2 years ago
yeah super duties have lockers i know that the D-maxs dont but super duties do
84supradude 2 years ago
haha yall have no clue about drivetrains or 4x4's in particular. You two are talking about the manual locking hubs that locks the wheels to the axle and puts it into 4wd....not lockers in the differential that lock the axle shafts together for more traction...buahahaha
MUDVAYNE311 2 years ago
we were talking about the lockers in the dif so both tires will spin
84supradude 2 years ago
Locking hubs and locking differentials are 2 different things. The locking hubs engage the hub to the axle which is then powered by the transfer case. It is used to get better fuel mileage because the axle doesn't spin all the time when in 2wd causing drag and lower MPGs. Locking diffs engage to give equal power to both axles and wheels not just the wheel that moves easier. Note only one wheel spinning on the front end. Thats why he said Elockers where on back order.
LadderMonkey17 2 years ago
driftkidd94 was referring to the hubs. The Ford Raptor F150 is Fords first Locking Diff Truck as far as I know.
houseofdiesel 2 years ago
I understand how it works but I don't think they do. That's why I explained the difference for them.

DuraToTheMaxxx 3 years ago
if thats supposed to be an offroad truck, why are the tie rods flexing and the wheels shaking at the end??
DuraToTheMaxxx 3 years ago
Cause Ford changed the Ratio in the gear box and changed the offset on the wheels (AGAIN) and widened the track to achieve a tighter turning radius. Now there is too much wieght out there and too much presure on the box with tires over 35s just like Chevys and Dodges with the wrong offset wheels. Dual stabalizers solved the wable but not the Box problem.
houseofdiesel 3 years ago
Suzuki and Kawasaki are working together, and share a few dirt/motocross bikes and quads like the old Z400 and the minis but that's about it. notice the LTR450 and KFX450 are two very different machines. not the same...
back to the vid... pretty cool truck. I like the big tire, low lift stance. more practical, and just makes more sense than bigger lifts, unless you run bottomless mud pits
JMLev88432 3 years ago
hey big boy, two words:
locking differential
you wouldnt have the wheel spin and you would have much more control on mud and crap like that. and let some air out of your tires. that would help to.
monsternos17 3 years ago
Hey Big Boy, Read the discription! Dana 60 Elockers were on back order at the time of video. And it wasn't like I was running the Con or Moab. Its mud not rocks, and I was just playin' around and it ended up being good video.
houseofdiesel 3 years ago
hey dumbass, lower tire pressure dont do shit for mud.
as far as lockers go, i run with detroit.
sk8r26502010 3 years ago
now to take things one step further, the dodge cummins inline six produces as much torque and as much horsepower with 40% few moving parts. this allowing it to be a very popular machine for chase, baja, and offroad use.
some companies that build highend off road truck include one up off road, spirson, carli, lorenz, thuren, kroeker offroad (kore), icon, and cambren. notice that not a single chevy part is available.
bigblue24v 3 years ago
No arguement there. We are all screwed with PDF though. Thanks tree huggers and Diane Feinstien.
houseofdiesel 3 years ago
i like these arguements.
chevy uses an IFS front suspension which cannot handle large amounts of torque or strain. it was designed to be confortable on the road, not be a tough offroad vehicle without alot of modification
simply due to the fact the dodge and ford use a four-link axle assembly up front they can be easily modified for intense off road use.

kelly6580 3 years ago
Sorry bro, don't be a hater just cause you bought a truck that can't even support a solid axle even if you wanted or could offord to swap one in without rebuilding half the frame.
houseofdiesel 3 years ago
no im not a hater i hate that truck becuase it sucks
and its made by ford
kelly6580 3 years ago
Funny GM is the on going out of biz. Too bad cuz they do make good gassers. Duramax doesn't count cuz Isuzu designed it. The only prob with the Fords is International and the all Ford 4.4 and 6.7 diesels are coming soon. but the 4.6, 5.4 and 6.2 are on your heals and the Chevy could never build a truck as good as a Lightning or Raptor. Don't bother arguing the 454 SS cause the guys on Truck U proved the early Lightnings spank it.
houseofdiesel 3 years ago
idc what you say becuase none of te company's are going out of business and dont say ford is best at making everything becuase they arent gm has flaws and so does ford and dodge
dont say ford is perfect just becuase you are so anal about them and like them so much you would not say one thing is wrong with them
and gm makes the z71 which is way better and less expensive than the raptor
kelly6580 3 years ago
What exactly is the z71 package? An extra skid plate or something? The new Raptor is Factory, not some cheap aftermark Procomp or Readylift, with longtravel oversized control arms, 6.2 400hp, Locked Up, monster with 35" tires. The Z71 was a sweet package back when I was in highschool and none of the other companies had any other options, and before I new how many shortcut dealers and thier outsourced shops take to make a dime. Your best arguements are Denali, LS Series Motors, and Duramax.
houseofdiesel 3 years ago
i dont care what you say
i love gm they are the best and the raptor looks dumb anyway
kelly6580 3 years ago
Just the grill, but Chevy had that ugly ass front end when GM decided to save a dime and run the square Avalanche front end for a few years. I tried to give GM a complament with those three things too, oh I forgot ZR1. Ford is playing catchup on all of them and will never be successful in bettering the Denali or Cadilac persona with Lincoln or Mercury so there. Your stick to GM and I'll stick to Ford. Sweet the neverending arguement continues, unsolved.
houseofdiesel 3 years ago
you are just saying that
i dont care becuase i know anything i say you will be like ford is better
you will belive anything ford says thats how all ford people are
if you look up anything ford that is not biased the gmc will win
i was reading a mag. put on by people and they were not biased
and the gmc dominated
the 3500 kicked the most ass
and the 1500 and the 2500 kicked ass to
kelly6580 3 years ago
Funny '09 F150 just got pickup of the year. They all have the plus' and minus', but we get the most winers and least diehards, cause a lot of people with no brand loalty buy Ford. I wish they'd buy something else to complain about, because nothings made like it used to be.

You call those arguements. The answer is that the majority of the Chevys sold go to pavement pounders. Majority of Fords sold go to work on construction sites, farms, ranches, and hauling. Minority of newer Chevys sold go offroad and minority of Ford TRUCKS sold are pavement pounders.
houseofdiesel 3 years ago
